"NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Robin plunged his ledgendary sword, Sol, into his alter-ego's chest. He kicked the body off and he staggered backwards.

"You have no idea... what you've just done!" Grima said. His body was slowly fading. "You... insolent fool! We are one in the same! You will... DIE!"

"We'll see about that!" Robin created a lightning bolt in his hand, and threw it into Grima. He fell over in pain.

"ROBIN, NO!" Chrom yelled. He dashed over to Robin's side. "Let me strike the final-OOF!" Robin spun around and kicked him as hard as he could. He staggered backwards and fell on his back.

"FATHER!" Lucina yelled, and ran to him.

"CHROM! ROBIN!" Lissa saw this and followed Lucina.

"Robin," Chrom said. "You promised you would let me strike the final blow!" He used Falchion to pull himself up.

"Yes, let him do it!" Grima yelled.

Robin looked at Chrom. "I'm sorry Chrom. I only hope that you will come to forgive me. You are my best friend, and I'm doing this for you, and all of humanity." He looked over to Lissa. He could see the pain in her eyes.

"Lissa, I..." She was on the verge of tears. He couldn't tell her his true feelings, it would break her heart even more.

"Robin, please don't go!" Lissa pleaded. "It doesn't have to be this way! I can't lose you too!"

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be!" Robin yelled back. He couldn't find the words to say, and he didn't have much time. He turned around to face Grima, who had pulled himself up. Chrom and Lissa were running towards them, and Grima unleashed a barrage of his spiky breath on them. Robin stood his ground, while the others flew backwards.

"This ends now!" Robin yelled. He activated Ignis, and his sword sparkled with electricity. Robin leaped towards Grima, closing a 5 foot gap, and brought his sword down on Grima's head. With a flash of light, shadow and pedals, the two Robins were no more.

"Robin... ROBIN!" Chrom yelled. He dashed over to were the two were standing, but there was no trace of either one. Lissa fell to her knees and burst into tears.

"Damn you... Chrom whispered. "Why did you do this to us? Why did you leave us Robin?" His vision grew blurry. "I wanted to defeat Grima, but not like this... never like this..."

Frederick rode up on his horse and dismounted. "Chrom, our battlefield is falling! We're going to crash!" Chrom was silent. Frederick put a hand on his shoulder and grabbed him. "Pull yourself together damnit!" Chrom looked up. The dragon's corpse was headed straight for the mountain!

"We need to jump! Chrom realized. "SHEPHERDS, JUMP!"

Robin awoke with strange noises all around. Is this Limbo? He thought. He opened his eyes. All he could see was the ground. He slowly lifted his face off the stone. Hmmm... I can see, feel and hear... so am I alive? He stood up. He appeared to be in a prison cell of some kind, with a rusty door as the only exit or window. He heard a cry behind him. He swiftly turned around and saw a pink-skinned risen with empty black eyes, wearing nothing but a loincloth. It was horrifying, but more importantly, it was running straight at him with a knife!

Dun dun dun, cliffhanger! This chapter is a little short because I wanted to jump right into the story. But anyway, some constructive criticism would be nice, or any suggestion you might have for the story as well! I probably will try and include all the Awakening characters, but I should probably beat Dark Souls soon (I'm only at Queelag). Anyway, I will try and update as soon as possible!
