I woke up feeling more tired than I was when going to sleep. It was the end of my summer holiday and today was the day when I had to go back to school. Disney High School! The most prestigious school in the region. It was well known for its various sport activities but mostly for the rich parents who take their children there. I for one was not one of them. I only joined after I earned a scholarship which I believe I deserved immensely. This was my junior year here and I couldn't wait to finish as soon as possible and leave all this behind.
I dragged my self out of bed and took a shower and dressed. I packed my bags and went downstairs. As usual my mother was not even up yet and my father had already left. I smirked at the quiet environment I was in and poured myself a bowl of cereal and coffee, just the way I like it. The quiet was abruptly disturbed by the chirpy voice that I noticed quickly as Ariel, one of the only friends I made.
" heeeeeey!" Ariel said in her sing-song voice while walking in to hug me. " I missed you this summer" she said while hugging me. She strangely became stronger in the past few months.
" I missed you too. Want cereal?" I asked her showing her my bowl of coffee-cereal.
" eek! No" she said disgusted. I laughed at my petite friend and dragged her outside to her limo. Ariel's father was a very rich man, he deals with movie productions and made the best hit sea movie earning him the title of King Triton. We got in her limo and drove off to school. I looked outside the window while Ariel kept on chatting about her summer where she saved some guy from drowning. The limo stopped outside the DHS gates and we got off. We walked to the garden area where most student were before classes started and Ariel went on greeting people who complimented her on everything. To me everything about her was the same. Same red hair. Same purple tops. Same green jeans.
We walked to a table where Ella, Snow and Rory were seated. At least I could sit comfortably with them. We greeted each other, each talking about their summer and me. Just drinking my coffee and laughing along like everything is perfect. It wasn't.
