Special thanks to my beta Lotrlover2931 and to everyone who reviewed/faved/followed my other stories.
I don't own Thranduil.
"We've found many spiders but no nests, hir nin," started Daeron, one of the five captains.
"Do you think it's good or a bad news?" asked Thranduil, sipping his wine. He was thirsty after long talks with people from Dale and meeting with Elrond's adviser, Erestor. Now, when in the room were only his own lieges, he could relax. Mirkwood's matters, of which they were talking about right now, were of course the most important of all but, to relief of every present elf, haven't required steel formality. Mirnis rubbed his temples, Kaladen slumped in his chair, Limanae closed his eyes and one of the king's guards sat on the floor by Thranduil's side. Thranduil didn't mind, Saulin has stood by him for six hours after all.
"I don't know. The Rangers sent to find nests were experienced ones. But I dare not to hope. Shadow is still very strong, you know about it first-hand, aran nin," said Daeron carefully. Suddenly the door to the room opened revealing the queen and young human female. Saulin stood up alarmed. Thranduil frowned, he didn't recognise the woman wearing his wife's coat and Melianel's expression wasn't the one that he liked to see.
"What happened, meleth nin?" he asked, worried.
"Don't call me that!" His advisers jumped in their seats, surprised by outburst of normally gentle elleth.
"Thranduil!" cried the happy human, his wife snorted and he could only stare in confusion at her and her companion.
"So you really know each other"
"I think that I have to go to check-" Limanae started uncomfortably.
"Yes, I will go with you" murmured Kaladen in agreement.
"It can be serious," nodded Mirnis.
"Oh no, you're not going anywhere untill my husband explains what is the meaning of this!" Queen pointed to a girl. The king interrupted the awkward silence.
"I don't understand. Who she is?"
"I'm Lenaluthien," answered the cheerful person in question.
"Don't play stupid! I know everything! Everything, do you hear me? Just tell me the truth, admit it! You've cheated on me!" Melianel shouted in rage. Thranduil nearly fell from his seat. Daeron flinched at the next scream.
"You betrayed me!"
"With who? That mortal teenager? I don't even know her!" The Elven king recovered from the shock and couldn't believe his ears.
Melianel smiled mirthlessly,
"Oh, so she just accidentally was in our closet," she stated calmly.
What?!
"And in very interesting lingerie. Such coincidence. Indeed." She took her coat from Lunaluthien, leaving the girl in red lingerie. Thranduil turned from the sight stunned and guards followed his example, Mirnis quickly throw his own cape to Lunaluthien, Kaladen closed his eyes and Daeron caught Limanae who fainted. Lunaluthien took the cape and wrapped herself in it. It was not that she did not enjoy the blushes on males in the room but her beloved Elvenking was not looking anyway and the room was freezing.
How did you get into my closet?" Thranduil's voice was so worryingly calm that Kaladen stood up and poured the Dorwinion in his lord's goblet. Thranduil took gratefully the wine.
"Well, I was watching the movie and then I saw you and thought: Nice guy, I wanna be in his room and then I dropped just there! In this sexy and perfectly looking at me clothes!" she replied.
"You call it clothes?" asked incredulously Daeron. The Elvenking drank his wine in one gulp.
"Does Elrond deal with mentally unstable too?" asked Saulin quietly.
"Take her to dungeons or whatever. Just get rid of her!" Thranduil stormed off through the second door since he had no desire to get closer to insane human. "Melianel!" he shouted desperately after his wife.
Please review and tell me what do you think about it!
