Arthur sighed and eyed the various glasses scattered over the bar. He and Ford were the only two left at this bar and the bill was getting substatially large. Arthur knew Ford would try to make him pay, unless Arthur managed to be particularly clever and sneak out when Ford wasn't looking.
"Oh, yes. Lovely fellow, he was." Ford nodded and ordered another drink. Arthur stared, waiting for Ford to blink so he could make a run for it. After thirty seconds or so, Arthur's eyes were watering horribly and he couldn't help but close them. When he opened his eyes again, Ford was gone.
"Put it on my tab," Arthur muttered miserably and shuffled out of the pub.
