"Oh woe is me, woe is me!" said a girl coming into a large bedroom. "From the depths of my family!" she flopped down on one of the two beds. "Forever lost, but forever free. And I-"

"Hope this is the end of this stupid poetry." said the boy sitting on the bed opposite the one she had flopped down on. "Please stop talking now." The girl stuck her tongue out at him and went over to his bed.

"Oh, Jamesie-Poo is such a downer." She ruffled 'Jamesie-Poo's' hair and he glared his amber eyes at her.

"Don't call me Jamesie-Poo. My name is James."

"My name is Jennifer yet you call me Jenny."

"Yes but everyone calls you Jenny! Mom calls you Jenny!"

"And mom calls you her little Jamesie-Poo." Jenny shook her red hair in James's face. James blushed.

"The Hogwarts letters are here!" James lied, pointing out the window. Jenny ran over to the window and looked out. She gasped.

"They are!" Then she ran down the stairs. James looked out the window confused. Sure enough he saw two owls quickly approaching. He ran out after his sister.

Meanwhile Remus Lupin was eating chocolate and reading a book. He had turned eleven recently and felt cheated; he had not gotten a letter. A very particular letter. His Hogwarts letter. He placed his chocolate down and it made another brown stain on his bed spread. He just didn't understand. He was a good kid. He could get a bit feisty at times but that was it. He was just a werewolf. It wasn't his fault. He stared longingly at his broom that he would never get to fly at school with friends. Friends. He could never have those either. It wasn't fair! A knock on his door brought him from his fantasy. Interested, Remus went downstairs and was shocked at the man standing there. It was Albus Dumbledore. Remus started to stammer.

"But- you- what- huh?" Dumbledore smiled at him.

"I have a letter for you." Remus gasped at the letter in Dumbledore's hand.

"I'm going to..." Dumbledore nodded. Remus took the letter and opened it at the same time Jenny and James opened theirs.
