Lance Kicewd was worried, that much was evident to everyone in his presence. As the combat raged outside the Trade Federation's ship, Lance knew that something was definitely, unique, about the pilot of the single ship that had so far managed to avoid every TIE fighter assault thrown at it. No matter how many sneak attacks, traps, intercepts, and blaster fire they used, the pilot managed to almost effortlessly surpass every single obstacle. The pilot had be a Jedi or Sith, because he'd avoided most of the assaults prior to it's launching, of course even a powerful Jedi would have slipped up by now. The only conclusion was that the ship held at least two Jedi, which would explain why they hadn't made a mistake yet, and the only way that would happen is if Shomari had returned, of course with his older brother. Shomari was fairly easy to manipulate, simply redirect his anger at someone else, or see how much money he would need for the next few standard days. Of course, with Déshawn here to keep him on an even keel, the situation became a lot trickier. In all his attempts, the calm-minded Jedi saw through every one of his ploys. This was the main reason he'd developed such nimble feet for escaping from the pair. However, on the bridge he was trapped, and if he tried to slip out into the hallways, he would be found even quicker. No, his only choice was to sit here and wait for their arrival. Fortunately, Husb had announced their incoming arrival and delivered one last gift before he announced that it would be safer for them to break off their contact forever. But Husb was not an amateur; this last gift was likely to save him from certain doom. Husb had done well in the choice of his going away present. At these very thoughts, Lance turned and looked at the glistening durasteel-coated weapon, and let his mouth curl into a smirk. It would more than rescue him from the problem; he would likely be able to kill the Jedi with the proper planning and use.
"Shut down the docking bay ray shields," Lance commanded.
"Is that wise sir?" the officer questioned in shock. "They are dangerously close, if we shut them down they'll probably be able to land."
"Why do you think I ordered the ray shields down?" Lance responded calmly.
"Yes sir," the officer turned back to his panel and pressed a few keys. "Ray shields down."
"Good," Lance turned to the viewport and watch the exchange of fire. "Let the games begin."
