Bang!
Ste woke up instantly as he heard a loud noise, or he thought he did, he got up, staggered to the bathroom and flicked some cold water onto himself to freshen himself up for the day ahead. Another meaningless day in the life of Ste.
Every night Ste has the same nightmare over and over again, a nightmare which he had to live through once, and now has to every single night. A nightmare about that night, the night where his world came crashing down instantly, where he could see everything he loved just disappear right before his eyes.
When he was staring at himself in the mirror, he could see a big, dark, purple circle right around his left eye. He weeped, thinking of the night, thinking he was lucky to still alive. But was he glad about that? 'No' he thought to himself. ''Fucking no!'' he cried out smashing the mirror in front of him. He wish he'd gone down with the people he loved, the person who hes always loved.
How will he get through this nightmare?.. Surely he can't keep going through this every night and everyday.

Once Ste had finally calmed down, he attended to his gashes in his hand from where he previously hit the mirror, he thinks he deserves this, the pain and the agony just because he wasn't there for Brendan when he needed him most. But of course it wasn't all of his fault, mostly none of it was, but he keeps blaming himself.
After 10 minutes of getting ready, Ste took the first step outside, and felt a breeze of wind wash over him, somewhat relaxing him. But not for long as the only person he had on his mind was Brendan, the person who he won't ever be able to see again. He sighed.
''A new day, a new start'' he whispered to himself in so much disbelief. As he carried on taking steps outside, he looks around and hears everybody chit-chatting like you do on a day to day basis. His ears prick up when he hears that oh so familiar voice of Cheryl, Brendan's sister. Ste adored Cheryl a massive amount, and not just because she has the same name as his idol, Cheryl Cole, or because she introduced him to Brendan, but because she has been and cared for him when he was at his lowest.
Ste had been away for a few days just to get his head straight, which didn't work, he only just brought his depression back to Hollyoaks, and only one person could cheer him up right now.
