Hi all. So since I finished a couple of Psych stories I wanted to start a new one. Its very angst and here is a prologue. Reviews are lovely, especially since tomorrow is my birthday.
"See…that…window" he gasps out as he tries to stand. The child looks up and then back to him before nodding.
"Yes…" she says hesitantly. "I think you….you can fit…you can get out and…and get help" Shawn answers.
"No…I don't want to leave you!" Lily cries.
"Don't argue Lily!" Shawn scolds. The seven year old flinches and he strokes her hair.
"Sorry kid, but you have no choice" he says softly. She gives a small nod in reply and he smiles.
"I love you kiddo and I just want you to be safe" Shawn tells her. Lily Nora gives out another nod.
"I love you too Uncle Shawn and don't worry I will find daddy and he'll save you" she answers.
Shawn gives her a nod and helps the child up into the window. Outside is a large tree so Lily quickly scrambles down it. She hit's the ground and immediately runs off.
She stops after a couple of blocks and doesn't know where she is. Then she begins to cry.
