"A toast to Mr and Mrs Fullbuster!"
The crowd cheered as they lifted their glasses up in the air to the newlyweds.
The guild's resident fire dragon slayer lifted up his glass in reluctance as he eyes were glued on the bride.
She looked absolutely gorgeous tonight. She was dressed in a long elegant white gown which shimmered under the lights. Her beautiful golden blonde hair was now tied up in a bun; making her look just like a princess. His princess.
Natsu's eyes narrowed when the raven-haired groom took the celestial mage's hand and led her towards the centre of the guild. On cue, the lights dimmed and the music started to play. The hall grew silent as the guests watched the couple take their first dance together as husband and wife. Natsu clenched his fists as he eyed the couple staring lovingly into each other's eyes. He let out a soft growl when the man planted a soft kiss on her lips.
He hated the ice mage with a vengeance. He had always hated the man ever since he was a kid. Without warning, the stupid ice prick stole his girl from him right under his nose and there was nothing he could do about it.
She was the second girl he had ever loved in his life and it hurt to let her go. He hated to admit it but that idiot made her really happy. Her lovely brown eyes would light up whenever she was with him. As much as he wanted to object to the wedding, he couldn't. He didn't want to be in the way of her happiness.
As the music came to an end, the bride looked up and caught his gaze. She broke into a bright smile as she waved to him. Natsu found his lips curling upwards as he waved back. Yes, if she was happy, he was happy too. That was all that mattered.
The smile turned into a frown when she pulled her husband towards him.
"You look beautiful," Natsu said awkwardly when the celestial mage stood in front of him.
She giggled, "You look good too."
Natsu pulled her into a hug, "Congratulations."
"Thank you for everything you've done for me. I love you, dad."
"I love you too."
Irritation clouded over his face once again as the couple walked away to entertain the other guests.
"Stop sulking," a voice came from behind him.
"She's too young to get married and I still don't get why she has to choose ice princess's son out of everyone," he grumbled.
Lucy laughed, "Don't be a baby. Come on, we need to entertain the guests. People are wondering where the bride's father disappeared to."
Natsu whined as he let his wife pull him towards the crowd, "Do I have to?"
She rolled her eyes and pointed at Gray, "You're going to lose to Gray at this rate. He's doing such a fine job."
The dragon slayer scowled and ran over to his friend, "I BET I CAN ENTERTAIN MORE GUESTS THAN YOU, STRIPPER!"
"BRING IT ON, FLAME BRAIN!"
Drabble galore!
And I'm really out of plot bunnies so I shall fade into the background now.
