Don't own Harry Potter.

"Gellert?" Albus was sitting in front of Gellert at the table.

"Yeah Albus," he replied half-heartedly reading the Daily Prophet.

"Did something happened last night? It feels as though you're ignoring me.." Albus frowned and looked down at his coffee.

"You don't.. You don't remember?" Gellert put down his newspaper and looked at Albus warily.

"No, why? What happened? Did I do something wrong?" Albus looked worried, and opened his mouth to apologize.

Gellert spoke before Albus could add anything. "No, no. Unless you call dancing the Macarena on the balcony something," he lied, smirking.

"Oh," Albus looked ashamed. "Did I really? I'm so sorry if I have embarrassed you, Gellert."

"Come on, Al. I'm used to it by now," he said, using his old nickname for Albus, trying to relax him.

"Well, good, good." Albus smiled and offered him a lemon drop.

"Ew, no. I don't know how can you suck on this horrific things," Gellert scrunched his nose, and sipped his coffee.

"On a different subject, the state of the muggles is horrible, we should get rid of them." He looked at Albus, "you know. For the Greater Good."

Albus blinked at the sudden change of subject. "Uh.. Yeah, okay. Anything you say Gellert."

"You're too trusting and agreeing, don't you have an opinion?" Gellert sneered.

"I'm on your side and you're complaining?" Albus raised an eyebrow. "Anyway, I do have, it's just that you're correct, they're in battles all the time for territories, they're in battles for nothing! They practically kill themselves just for the fun of it. They're.."

"Mad," Gellert offered.

"Yes! Mad, they're off their rocker, insane, not in their right mind."

Gellert put his hands on the table and looked at Albus carefully. "Al, I will fight for you."

Albus blushed at the second use of the old nickname. "Gellert you don't have to do anything for me."

"Oh damn it Al, are you so naive? I will die for you! I will give all I have to make you happy! I love you Albus and I want you to love me too."

Shocked silence followed his statement.

"I.. I love you too."

More silence.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Why have you waited until now to say it?" Gellert said, red faced.

"Why have you?

"I'm going out." Gellert grabbed his cloak and turned to leave.

"Wait." He stopped and turned around. "I will wait for you here, and I will wait a thousand years for you, just come back."

"I will." And with these words, he left and didn't return for two years.
