Blue sky, scattered clouds, soft grass in between my toes and Sasuke-kun right next to me this is a dream come true.
" Sakura, what do you think the future will be like ? " I turned to be captivated by onyx eyes i'm use to see everything day, Morning,noon, and night.
" Not sure. " I said turning to face him, he looked more handsome with his hair tousled and his face scarce of the worries of everyday life.
" ...But, what if the future isn't how we want it to be ? " He looked me in the eyes and I knew right away he was afraid of the future. To me Sasuke was my future and I was his.
" We've worked so hard to get the point where we are now, if we aren't sure which path to take we'll just see what happens and work through it… together " I smiled taking his hand in mind and gentle caressing his.
" Why ? "
" well... " I let out a sigh touching speeches weren't my thing but I'd give it go.
" We may grow old but even if you get wrinkles I'll still think you're handsome. "
He smirked and placed a strand of my hair behind my ear making blush a bright shade of red.
" Hn. cute. " Sasuke smirked poking me on the forehead in playful gesture.
" My family would have adored you, ya know. " It wasn't a question but a statement.
" Really ? " I ask Sasuke-kun never talked about his parents much, I wonder what's causing him to bring it up.
" Yeah. You're probably their ideal daughter in-law and my nii-san would have looked after you like you were blood " He kissed me on the forehead and picked a small daisy placing it in my hair.
" Blood doesn't always mean family, I mean your family. "
He nodded his head in agreement and held my hand tighter.
" Sakura…"
" Yes. "
" If we have a child I hope he or she is caring and kind hearted like you. "
" Hmmm, I hope our child is brave and strong like you. " I said poking his forehead and giving him a kiss on the lips.
" What I want most of all is our child to have a bright future and cherish the love around. "
Sasuke eyes flashed to sorrow for a couple minutes but then turned back to eyes only held warmth in them.
It took a lot of tears and battles to get to the future we have now and even if the clouds blanket the sky is seemingless darkness the sun,our future, will always shine through in the end.
" … Ya no i think it doesn't matter if we can't see the future clearly because the future is something you have to find on your own and I want to find this happy future with you. "
He smiled. Not a smirk but a small, real smile and said " Sakura. Thank-you for everything. "
With that Sasuke closed his eyes, held me close, and we both bathed in the warmth of the sun and the love in our hearts. We lost many loved ones but the warmth they placed in our hearts could never crumble away as long as you grasp them and never let go.
Sorry, for bad fics but my dad died recently and I haven't been feeling it but the recent Naruto: Shippuden episode boosted my spirits enough try and give you all a worthy fic of your time. Also, i hope you all had a good thanksgiving and don't get tummy aches.
