Hi Guys this is my new story. I hope you enjoy:)
CLARY POV
This was it. This was the last day I would ever spend with Jace. Leaving my bungalow in my 1990 white Volkswagon Cabriolet I had gotton for my 16th birthday, I headed to Jace's house.
The driveway was gloomy this day. Moving truck in front of his parents mansion. Or should I say his mansion. The workers were packing all his belongings.
I got out of my vehicle and sprinted inside, checking each familiar room twice, looking for the face of my best friend.
Just as I was exiting my favourite room, the music room, I saw a flash of gold behind the piano.
"you know my dad gave me this piano just weeks before the accident" the depressed voice said.
I knew immediately it was Jace and I ran over enveloping him in hug to stop his tears.
Two weeks earlier Jace's parents had died in a fatal car accident. It left him heart broken but with my help he was healing.
"Claire what am I going to do without you, I don't want to move in with my cousins"
I could tell he was really hurting inside. "Baby you'll be okay without me, we can call every day and I can even visit you" I consolled
"NO! Clarissa Adelle Fray, you promised me you would save your money for college" he yelled at me
"Fine then I won't visit you, BUT AT LEAST TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE STAYING" I screamed in reply
Jace turned his head and strutted towards the stairs and out to my car. Getting in beside him I slammed the door, Turned up the music, and drove off in silence.
The rest of the ride was fairly quiet, small talk here and there, untill we eventually arrived at the airport.
Jace pulled me into a bear hug and whispered in my ear
"I love you Claire Bear, and don't you dare go off replacing me. Im sorry for not telling you where I'm going, but it's for your own good. I will tell you one day, Be good"
and with that he walked off and boarded the plane.
So that was the beginning of my new story.
I will update ASAP but atm I am procrastinating my homework lol
