Nothing but a cold night~

Before the stars could appear in the sky, two innocent hearts got broken in an irretrievable way.

A little twelve years old boy called Seiji Watanabe entered on his mother's bedroom, needing to cuddle. He was sick and tired, and missing his two minutes older brother, who was at school.

"Mum... I can't sleep well... Can I stay here with y-M-Mom?!"

His eyes widened. His mother, with a knife pointed to her own chest. The woman looked at his son, with pitiful eyes, and mumbled. "I am sorry..."

"MUM!" The boy yelled as he saw his mother end up with her life. He ran towards his mother and wrapped his arms around her body; his eyes were filled with tears. "No... You can't die!" he said between sobs. He closed his eyes as he felt the soft touch of the women's hand on his cheek. Suddenly, somebody got into the room. It was Minori, Seiji's twin brother. He ran towards his mother and sibling and started crying, hugging both of them. "Never forget that...I will... Always love you." She whispered, and in a last sigh, the Death took her away.

The twins held the now dead body tightly, without letting go. Both of them were crying hardly and holding each other's hands. They simply couldn't believe that the most important to them had died in a terrible way. "Why did you leave us...?" Seiji mumbled softly. "No, she didn't..." the other brother said, lifting the younger's chin and then placing a sweet kiss on his forehead. "She will always be here with us, alive in our hearts..." he whispered.

Not much time later, they decided to call somebody. An ambulance went to the house.

"Do you guys have somewhere to stay?" A gentle nurse asked to the twins. They just shook their heads. "We're okay here, miss." Minori said softly with a shy voice. "Oh... Just be safe. If there's something wrong, call some familiar or neighbor, okay?" she said, and got a nod as response from the older.

When everybody was gone and everything seemed to be okay at the house, the only thing you could hear was the twin's sobs. Laying in the same bed and hugging each other. Warm tears running down their faces. The younger's body was trembling and he couldn't stop crying. What he'd seen… Was unforgettable. Minori looked over at his brother and held his hand, intertwining their fingers. "I'm here… For you." The younger pulled himself closer to his twin. "Don't you never ever leave me…" Seiji mumbled softly as he felt his tears being wiped away by his sibling. "We'll be always together, no matter what happens. I swear." He said sweetly while his brother fell asleep.
