This fanfic is short and features characters from Mattel's Ever After High, Monster High, DC Superhero Girls and Barbie. This is also a parody of the Cartoon Network commercial of the same name with Fred Flintstone, Quick Draw McGraw, I Am Weasel and Huckleberry Hound. For Mattel.
One night, four girls come in a convenience store, who are Madeline Hatter, Harley Quinn, Barbie and Draculaura. The latter two are going to check something in the aisles while Maddie and Harley go up to the cashier.
"Hello. Can you turn on Top 5, please?", Harley wackily smiles.
"And, uh, where's your bathroom?", Madeline asks wackily too.
The cashier groans and says to them, "Can't you read?", pointing to the state law notice:
No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service! - State Law
Madeline and Harley, not satisfied with this law, the daughter of the Mad Hatter says, "Alright, I'll get some flip-flops."
Looking at the flip-flops, the cashier says, "I can't sell you flip-flops! No service!", pointing at the notice again.
"So...you're saying I can't buy shoes, because I'm wearing high heels?!", Madeline questions, but the cashier doesn't answer.
"And you! Monster! No vamps!", the cashier says to Draculaura instead answering Maddie's question.
This causes Draculaura to stop reading her magazine while upside-down, since she's the daughter of Dracula, looking at the cashier.
"That does it.", Maddie angrily groaned, as Harley follows her and the hatter then group huddles with Draculaura and Barbie.
Albeit this, the cashier is trying to see what the four girls are up to.
"Did he just call me a vamp?", Draculaura questions as everyone was talking about their plan so they could pass the state law. Everyone was also giggling and agreeing what their plan will be.
Minutes later, they plan to bring out Barbie, who is wearing a pink dress and she says to the cashier, "Can I have some service, please, sir?"
However, as she was shown, she is wearing a pink hat, pink dress, pink high heels and surprisingly, Draculaura's vest, and Madeline's skirt.
The cashier, noticing Barbie's high heels, protests, "That's high heels! High heels, that's not shoes!"
"These high heels are shoes!", Barbie corrected as she points at her shoes.
"High heels!", the cashier protested the high heels not shoes.
"High heels are shoes!", Barbie intensifying protested.
"HEELS!", the cashier says.
Barbie then yelled, "SHOES!"
"And you have to have skirts!", the cashier then says, as Barbie checked if she has a skirt.
Suddenly, we see Maddie, Draculaura and Harley Quinn coming towards the cashier, as Maddie tries to use tape to cover her exposed waist and Draculaura simply touching her chest to cover her exposed neck without her vest.
"That sign doesn't say skirts!", Maddie corrected, angry that "No Skirts" wasn't on the state law.
"This is outrageous!", Harley crazily commented.
Everyone started to argue as the three girls come up to the cashier with Barbie as he says:
"Everybody out! Everybody knows pants; pants are implied!", the cashier yelled, trying to calm the angry four down.
The five then keeps arguing as Maddie says, "Well, I gotta use the bathroom!", as the camera zooms out, the store door closing, showing the Mattel logo on it and the bottom saying with the logo,
Mattel
The Future of Play.
