Chapter 1 Winter Lovers
The winter has finally came again. Everyone begin wearing coats and warm hats, and cool accessories for this year snowy days and two more weeks until Christmas. At school, the kids were in class talking about science.
"Is the center of the earth hot? True or False? Ms. Fowl ask her students
"Ms. Fowl, Ms. Fowl! PICK ME, PICK ME!" Sheen waving his hands around
"Go ahead Sheen..." Ms. Fowl wished she didn't pick him.
"The answer is false! We live in a ball full of air, Air is wind, Wind is air, Air is cold." Sheen answers the question with a smile
"That's incorrect." Ms. Fowl checking his name off to be called on
"I LIVE IN THIS WORLD! YOU CAN'T TELL ME OTHERWISE!" Sheen getting up
"That's a detention for you Sheen...BAWK" Ms. Fowl said to him
"Maybe next time Sheen." Jimmy held his hand up waiting to be called
"Not so fast Neutron, The only person who will answer this question successfully is me!" Cindy looks at him
"Oh no...Not again." Ms. Fowl thought as she looks at Jimmy and Cindy hands in the air.
"Cindy." Ms. Fowl picks her out of the two
"The correct answer is true, Scientists estimate that Earth's core is more than 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit nearly the temperature found on the surface of the Sun." Cindy answers Ms. Fowl
"Objection! Cindy used her phone to answer that question!" Jimmy snitched
"You have no proof i did Brainiac." Cindy responds
"Everyone knows that the Earth's core can add to our understanding all sorts of wonders, from the existence of the planetary magnetic field, to the propagation of seismic waves after an earthquake, to the birth of itself." Jimmy responded back.
"Jimmy's right Ms. Fowl, Earth is very hot in the summer." Carl agrees with Jimmy.
Before Ms. Fowl could answer if Jimmy or Cindy were right, The bell rings telling the students it was now lunch time.
"Yes! Lunch time...Let's go Carl before the green jello be gone." Sheen running out of the class room.
"Give me a minute Sheen...I don't think i can make it..." Carl exhausted already from walking.
"Hey Cindy, I'm having a party tonight, Wanna come?" Nick invited Cindy.
"Oh Nick...Sure i would love to go" Cindy's eyes became a red heart shape.
"Cool. See you soon" Nick walks by Cindy and Libby, heading also to the cafeteria,
"DID YOU SEE THAT? Nick just ask me out Libby." Cindy became excited
"Yeah girl, He wants ya." Libby shakes her hips as she talks.
"He didn't ask you out. When did he ever say "out" in his words?" Jimmy chime in
"I didn't ask you Mr i know everything!" Cindy turned her body to face Jimmy.
"If you take a look back, Nick didn't say such a thing. You assume he did but in the end he didn't."
Jimmy showing Cindy and Libby what happen one minute ago.
"Blah Blah, Nerdtron you are so annoying. You think you know everything but you don't." Cindy said
"You right, I do know everything Vortex." Jimmy stated
"You guys are giving me a headache." Libby walks away from the two annoyed.
"Why don't you hang with Betty?! That would make you less stupid." Cindy says
"How about you hang with Nick? It would make you less intelligent." Jimmy remarks
"Have fun at Nicks dumb party. I'm sure it'll be marvelous." Jimmys sarcasm made Cindy more mad.
"GET BACK HERE NEUTRON I'M NOT DONE TALKING!" Cindy screams
But it was to late Jimmy just walked away from Cindy like the battle was over between them. Cindy didn't chase after him, instead she just went to the cafeteria to discuss the details for the party Nick was having for tonight.
Jimmy's Lab~
The boy genius was in his lab thinking about what he could do to ruin the party. He wasn't jealous that Nick asked Cindy to come to his stupid party, But mad that he didn't even think of asking him. What's so great about Cindy Vortex? She's the most annoying, yet amazin-! I mean, the most IGNORANT person he ever met.
"Computer search for anything i could do to sabotage Nick's party."
Computer...Scaning...One...destory Nick's house...
"Eh, That could lead me to court." Jimmy spoke not impressed by his Computer's results,
Computer...Scaning...Two...Attend Party...
"I guess i have no choice. Goddard! Come here boy!" Jimmy calls out to his most trustee sidekick.
Goddard came to Jimmy's aid like a lightning bolt. Goddard sat down on the ground patiently awaiting on new orders.
"I want you to do some research on a particular person." Jimmy smiles evilly.
"Bark, Bark?"
Vortex Household, Time 8:59 PM~
Cindy was so nervous about the party Nick was hosting tonight. She tried every dress she had in her closet! Luckily, she had her best friend Libby to support her all the way.
"Jeez Cind, Nick must be so important to you." Libby reading her magazine.
"Well duh! Nick is so amazing it makes my heart skip a beat." Cindy replies back
"More like Jimmy does." Libby fliping her magazine to the next page.
"Gross! If i have to stare down Neutron again i'll vomit." Cindy made a yuck sound
Goddard watches the two females gossip outside Cindy's window about their plans for tonight. The robot dog starts recording everything on what the pre-teens were saying.
"You two are the definition of Love birds." Libby told her best friend
"What about you and Ultra stupid!?" Cindy fired back
"Sheen? Me and him are good, I actually started dating him a while back." Libby replied
"Wow, I feel bad for you Libbs." Cindy laughed.
"Whatever."
Jimmy told Goddard to head back to the lab inside the mini intercom he built inside Goddards ear.
"Okay boy, Come back to the lab." Jimmy orders his robot assistant.
"Bark, Bark!" Goddard turning around heading back to his masters hideout location.
Jimmys Lab, Time 9:06 PM~
Goddard finally made it back to the hideout showing his creator everything that was said with Cindy and Libby conversation.
"Hm...So Cindy really must be in love with Nick, Interesting." Jimmy still looking at the recording video outside Goddard's torso.
"Bark, Bark!"
"Well Goddard, I know what i'm gonna do tonight at the party. Jimmy says
Nicks house party Time 9:31 PM
The party started five minutes ago. Everyone was having a good time dancing in the center and drinking beer and having a good time. Nick heard his doorbell ring twice so he went to the door and opens it.
"Cindy. Glad you can make it." Nick's charming voice made Cindy even more nervous,
"Oh sure Nick! HAHAHA" Cindy laughing awkwardly
"Okay...? Anyways, Come on in." Nick invited Libby and Cindy inside
"Girl, You need to control your orgasm." Libby walking inside first
"Tell me about it..." Cindy walking behind Libby, disappointed.
The girls made it inside his house seeing a bunch of people dancing, making out, and playing truth or dare on the floor in a circle. Libby seen her boyfriend Sheen with his close friend Carl talking near the punch area.
"Oh that's Sheen...I'll see you soon Cind." And with that Libby waves goodbye to Cindy heading to where Sheen was.
"Yeah, See you soon..." Cindy waves back in a sad slow motion.
"You look amazing Cindy." Nick standing behind Cindy with a cool smile
"Nick! T-Thanks!" Cindy turns around quick. "So...Um how you been?"
"Let's just say my life been boring lately, my lucky skateboard broke last week."
"Oh that sucks." Cindy didn't pay any attention she was just looking at him drooling.
"Right, Uh...Excuse me let me see who that is" Nick pointed behind him at the door
"Okay I'll see you when you came back!" Cindy said in a high pitch tone.
Nick walks to his door and pulled the door lightly to find a male figure staring him down with a death stare.
"Neutron. Didn't expect you to come also." Nick said holding the door wide open.
"May i come in?" Jimmy politely asked
"Sure dude." Nick allowing Jimmy to enter his household.
Jimmy walked inside to see all of his classmates partying like they didn't had school tomorrow. Jimmy spotted Carl talking to three females, Sheen and Libby making out, and most of all Betty Quinlan standing alone drinking her punch.
"Oh Betty..." Jimmy day dreaming while looking at his old childhood crush.
"Yeah. We about to play truth or dare wanna play?" Nick offers him to join
"Absolutely! I love playing a game called honest and dishonest" Jimmy accepts
"It's called truth or dare..." Nick corrects him "But whatever, follow me."
Nick goes in the middle of his living room and shouted with Jimmy behind him
"Everyone we all about to play truth or dare." Nick announce.
"Finally! I CAN SHOW THESE CHUMPS HOW COOL I AM!" Sheen says
"Let's just hope you won't get us booted out this time. Libby said
"This game will be easy. I created this game two weeks ago." Carl lying to three girls he was talking to
"Oh Carl, You sure are a genius!" A female that goes by Jen told him
"Yeah! He even have that german accent." Jen's twin sisters Gwen and Ken said
Every teen pile up into one big circle around each other with Nick and Jimmy still in the middle of everyones attention so far. Cindy notices Jimmy and couldn't help but to blurt her thoughts into words.
"Who let no neck in!?" Cindy pushes two random people out the way for a better view.
"Seems like Nick invited a possum here. Soneone hand me a bug spray!" Jimmy said
"Oh how clever, Someone tell Betty her lab rat escaped from his cage." Cindy says
"You take that back." Jimmy getting closer to her face.
"Make me." Cindy moving closer to his face ready to throw the first punch.
"Alright, Alright this is a party not a daycare." Libby pushing the two apart.
Jimmy and Cindy both looked away from each other and went on with the party. The group picked that Nick should go first with his truth or dare with his target.
"Hm...I'll choose...Sheen." Nick points at his target eyeing him down like a prey.
"YES! I PICK DARE!" Sheen accepts the challenge.
"I dare ya to run around the neighborhood for a good one minute.."
"That's it!? This is gonna be easy cheesy." Sheen walks with pride to the door. No one really stops Sheen, giving thag he wouldn't listen. But what Nick was going to say next stops the daredevil in his tracks.
"Naked." Nick finished his last sentence with a chilling echo voice.
Sheen and everyone looked at Nick surpise and shocked by the words he just said. Sheen stood there hoping this is just a joke.
"Wow this is like when Ultra Lord flew into time and space naked." Sheen said
"So are you gonna do it?" Nick says, waiting for his reply.
"Heck ya!" Sheen taking off his clothes in front of everyone with no shame.
"This is so gross..." Cindy covering her eyes.
"Sexual experiments is not my forte." Jimmy looks away in disgust.
Once Sheen got done taking all of his clothes every single person in the living room were disguised, But Libby.
"IT'S MOVING THE WORM IS MOVING!" Carl faints dramatically just by seeing it.
"It ain't so bad. It's kinda cute how brave he is." Libby stares down at Sheens body
"Go dude!" Nick instructs Sheen to fulfil the challenge.
"Oh yeah."
With that Sheen ran outside butt naked running around in circles for at least a good six minutes. The group cheers him on until he came back inside freezing because of the weather, and tired from running.
"Wow...Naked can leave a guy depressed." Sheen huffs loudly
"Uh Sheen it's called tired." Jimmy told his dear friend.
"Who cares! Sheen who you pick next?" Cindy still having both her eyes close
"That's a tuff one. Maybe...CARL! I KNOW YOU TOOK MY ULTRA BRIDE ACTION FIGURE YESTERDAY!" Sheen screams the last few words out, while putting his clothes back on.
"DID NOT!" Carl losing his german accent as he lifts his body back up from the ground.
"You got this Carl!" Jen roots for him along with her twin sisters.
"I don't know about this...What happens if i get rabies for being naked like sheen..."
"Trust me Carl you won't. Truth or Dare? We don't have all day." Cindy says
"I...I...Uh...I don't know! Give me a break i just witness Sheens ding dong for crying out loud!" Carl exaggerates
"Fine. Who wanna take Carls spot?" Cindy eye balling everyone in the room.
"I'll go." Betty coming from the shadows to take Carls place.
"Betty..." Jimmy stares her down with googly eyes, focusing only on her.
"Ugh! So TRUTH or dare." Cindy adding a frustrated sound to the word truth for Betty.
"Well if you insist, Truth." Betty says with a heart warming smile
"Is it true that you think Neutron quote "cute". Cindy ask
"That's none of your business Vortex." Jimmy frowns at Cindy.
"Did i ask you a question? I'm talking to her not too a ice cream cone." Cindy frowns back
"Yeah, I do think he's cute." Betty answered her question truthfully.
"You really mean that?" Jimmy walks closer to Betty nervous.
"You really mean that?" Cindy mocks him in a rude manner. "Give me a break."
"Enough! I'll go next." Libbys voice got most of everyone's attention. "I dare Jimmy and Cindy to be in the closet for two minutes."
"SAY WHAT!?" Both Jimmy and Cindy said in unison. Not completely comprehending what their good slash best friend said.
Every teen made a "Ouuu" sound when Libby said that. Cindy refuse to do anything with him, And Jimmy wouldn't allow himself to be so close to her.
"No way, I rather eat Butch's toe nails before i get anywhere with Neutron." Cindy explains
"You wanna test that theory?" Jimmy taunts
The two bicker once more telling each other more bad insults than the last one. Jimmy grew tired of the fighting and decides it's best to leave the party.
"I'm leaving! I don't know why my mind told me to come." Jimmy walking away from the crowd.
"Fine GO! SEE IF I CARE." Cindy shouted
"Look at the loser bailing!" Butch and everyone at the party begins to laugh at him but Sheen, Carl, Libby, and Cindy.
"Okay dudes, Party is over! My folks gonna be here soon." Nick told the crowd that it was time to hit the hay before his parents come.
"Aw man!" Sheen says, walking out the door with a bunch of people shoving him out the way grabbing their coats for what's to come with the cold weather outside.
The kids went home, Devastated that the party was over so soon. Libby, Sheen, Carl, Cindy, and Carls three female friends begin walking with each other in the cold raining weather, talking about the events that took place at the party.
"T-T-That was awesome! Did you G-Guys see me take that dare?"
Sheen shivers constantly, bragging to his peers that he took the dare like a champ. Libby gave her boyfriend a sweet peck on the cheeks, congratulating him for his act of bravery. Cindy rolled her eyes at the couple, Hinting she was quite jealous of them and their relationship. It wasn't because she like Sheen (Gross) But the fact her best friend Libby gotten a boyfriend first irks her. She ignores the couple and looks on her ride side, Seeing her other good driend Carl. Their friendship wasn't toxic at all, She just couldn't understand how Carl became a player in under two years. Maybe because of his constant "Boy Genius" fake personality made foreign females wonder if he did create alot of technology or words they didn't know about. Cindy shakes her thoughts away, and listens to her friends talk about things that happend in the party.
"Yeah, And did you see the look on Cindy and Jimmy's face when Libby dared them to do that closet thingy?"
Carl snorts his words, bringing up the past events that took place. Everyone besides Cindy was giggling at the topic. The blonde girl known as Cindy threatens the overweight boy to drop the conversation or get beaten brutally by her karate skills.
"Did yall remember when i beat CARL senseless from running his mouth!?"
Cindy dangerously locks eyes with Carl only to be moved away from him by Libby. Her actions didn't go unnoticed by the pop star queen bee. Libby from the start knew something was bothering her longtime best friend but what? She will soon find out as she pulled Cindy to the side.
"You guys can go ahead, Me and Cindy have to discuss something important." Libby said, letting her other friends walk without the two girls,
Sheen and Carl shrugged their shoulders and proceeds to walk to Neutron's place with Carl's "lovers" to tag along. Once they left the girls, Cindy randomly express her feelings to Libby without her even bringing up the subject yet.
"I'm such a bad person Libby! The way Betty makes him feel makes me...Sick! He isn't making things better for me, With his devotion and all that bull-crap he's giving Betty and not me! That barbie tramp will get a taste of my fist if she doesn't stop!"
Cindy breathing in and out finally releasing her feelings out for the public, mainly Libby to hear. The amount of shockness surfaced on Libby's face, now knowing her best friend feelings she held inside for so long came straight out od her mouth. Did Libby knew Cindy had a crush on Neutron? Yes. Did she knew She hated Betty deeply for taking Jimmy away from her? Not really. Libby immediately pulls Cindy into a powerful embrace, telling her that it was going to be okay. The hug lasted about twenty-five seconds before Cindy pulled away with tears in her eyes, Thankful to have Libby as a friend.
"T-Thanks Libby...That felt good letting all that anger out." Cindy gave her a tearful smile,
"No problem girl! Look, instead of going to Neutron's place let's go to my house and talk about this? You know your girl can't be sick the next day, I don't have time for my nose to be sneezing, While standing out in this cold weather."
Cindy chuckles at Libby's joke. Now feeling a little better, She agreed to go with Libby to her house instead of Neutrons place. The thought of seeing him right now makes Cindy more furious but she quickly lost her train of thought when Libby grab a hold of her fluffy jacket and starts to drag the blonde teen to her house that was nearby. Tomorrow will be a new day for Cindy, A day where she tries to avoid the boy who was giving her a hard time with her feelings for him, The boy who stole her heart from day one.
