AN: Okā¦here's Miley's perspective! This is the last of the individual character stories. I am now working on the epilogue, which will have more than one chapter! I thank everyone who reviewed this series and added it to their favorites. You guys are amazing! Anyway, this story, like Oliver's, has no flashback. It's present feelings and all, with a little shocker/cliffhanger at the end!
Disclaimer: You know by now that I do not own Hannah Montana or the JoBros (and you also know that I have declared my love for Kevin.). The song used in this story is NOT a JoBro song (shock!). It belongs to Meredith Edwards.
Enjoy!
So this is the heartache I've heard about
The part of love I could live without
Giving it all, loving in vain
This is the heartache I've heard about
A great future behind me now
As the memories run down my face
This is the heartache
For some reason, Miley couldn't breathe. And she couldn't see. She started panicking, wondering what was happening to her. She turned over, and that's when she realized that she was laying down, and the covers were over her head.
'Real smooth, Stewart,' she thought. 'At least no one was around to witness this.'
She threw back the covers and saw Oliver standing next to the bed with an amused smile on his face.
"Oh, sweet niblets"
And then she realized that she was in Oliver's bed. Again. For the fourth time that month. She sat up and looked at him, suddenly remembering why she was back in the there in the first place.
And the tears started up again.
Oliver sat beside her and held her, just like he always had when he popped into her mind. She would have thought that three years would have given her plenty of time to get over Nicholas Jonas, but she was so wrong.
If anything, the pain just got worse.
She always thought about him. Had he moved on? Did he regret that day? Did he miss her? Did he still love her? Cause she still loved him.
Even after he cheated on her, she still loved him. And she still missed him.
And, heaven help her, she still wanted him.
"Oliver," she started, looking up at the one person who had stood by her through it all, "am I crazy for still being in love with him?"
Oliver looked at her and gave a small smile. "No, Miles, you're not. What's meant to be will always find a way."
"You think we're meant to be?" she asked, a shocked look on her face.
"Yeah, Miley. I do."
She realized that she had a lot to think about. Her feelings were all jumbled, and she needed to be alone.
"Hey, Ollie, I'm going to go back to my room. Thanks for being there"
"No problem, Miles. You know where I am if you need me."
"Yeah. Thanks." And with that, she left.
Just as she stepped into the quiet confines of her room, her phone rung. Looking down at the Caller ID, she was shocked to see who's name popped up.
Nick J.
