i'm back! i'd like to present yet another miaka one shot (i'm acyually enjoying thois lol)

thank you to all those who enjoyed my other one shorts, now try this one for size. i promised an unusual pairing lol

Heaven was a wonderful place. The scenery was beautiful, the air was clear and there was nothing you couldn't get. It's no wonder the gods preferred staying here rather than the dump down below, thought Hikitsu as stretched out on a tree branch, who'd wanna go back after seeing this? Not me that for sure. He gave a contented sigh and leaned even further back into his branch.

Splash! He opened one eye to see who was making that noise, no one was there, so he continued to doze, Splash, swish, swish, splash! He cracked the eye open once more, scanning the environment even faster than before. Feeling extremely suspicious, he laid back down, hoping that this time he could rest in piece. Silence…SPLASH!

THAT'S IT!! His mind screamed as he jumped down from the tree, scaring the soul out Tomite. "Just what the hell do you think your doing!" he yelled, glaring at the boy who looked down at his feet, carefully shielding the water from view. Hikitsu blinked confusedly, leaning over to look behind him, "what are you hiding?"

"Nothing!" chirped Tomite quickly, moving so that his back still covered the water. Hikitsu raised an eyebrow, "Tomite hat have you been doing?" the boy began to sweat drop, smiling nervously at his friend, "l…like I said…n…nothing!"

"You're stuttering!" pointed out Hikitsu, earning a glare off the youth, "shut up Hikitsu!" rolling his eye, Hikitsu sighed before going to the attack once more, "come ooon! I want to know why you were splashing around when I was trying to sleep!" Tomite began to shift nervously, "I told you…nothing!" both eyebrows now raised, he pointed behind him, "then why is there the image of a girl with auburn hair and green eyes in that reflection?"

Tomite looked down his face beet red, "I…uh…I…oh man!" Hikitsu smirked at him, "go on!" he encouraged, "explain why you seem to watching the priestess of Suzaku."

The boy turned even brighter, his eyes cast down, "she…" mumble, mumble. Hikitsu put a hand to his ear, "sorry didn't quite catch that." Tomite glared at him, "she… she looked cute in her weird underwear, okay! Yeesh. Why are you so nosey."

Hikitsu mouth dropped, "your not saying that, that…YOU'VE GOT A BLOODY CRUSH ON THE PRIESTESS OF SUZAKU?!!" He looked as though he would keel over with shock, had he not already been dead. This was…unexpected. Gods, he thought, this girl's got more admirers than the emperor of konan. Tomite blushed even more, but instead of looking shy he had a smirk on his face, "why so shocked Hikitsu? Jealous?"

The seishi looked sideways at him, one eyebrow raised once more, "you wish, " he stated jumping into a tree. Tomite pouted, "Well if you don't like her! Who do you like?" silence, "you wanna know" Tomite nodded, "you really want to know?" more nodding. "Do you really want to know?" Tomite's patience snapped, "FOR GODS SAKE HIKITSU! QUIT PLAYING AROUND AND TELL ME WHO YOU LIKE!" The silver haired man closed his eyes, "you, night Tomite." And he fell asleep, leaving Tomite passed out on the bank.
