Summary: "Alice, Alice! I want to introduce you to my family!" But everyone has a choice, so what if hers was different?

AN: So spoilers if you haven't seen the movie Alice Through the Looking Glass yet. But anyways, I was sorely disappointed with how the movie ended cause I'm a huge TarrantXAlice fan. So here's how I would have ended it. Obviously.

Oh, and I've only seen the movie once, so this was all on my memory from watching the movie a week ago.

Farther up the bridge, Alice could see Tarrant and his family chatting happily together. She smiled lightly to herself and cast her eyes over the Queens, who seemed to be having a private moment together. It was then that a movement in the corner of her eyes caught her attention. The mirror opposite of her fluttered, like a tapestry, and she knew her time had come once again to leave Underland.

A sudden flurry of footsteps near her caused her to turn away from the mirror and towards Tarrant, who walked up to her with the largest smiled she had ever seen on his face.

"Alice! Oh Alice, I want to introduce you to my family!"

It was then that Tarrant also noticed the fluttering mirror across from them, and his face began to fall in sadness.

"Oh. I suppose it's time then…"

Alice looked back at the mirror for a brief moment before looking back at Tarrant, but the White Queen gave her a look over his shoulder. She raised her hand in her elegant floating manner, just as she was always known to do, but it was the head tilt she also did that made Alice pause.

'What are you going to do now?'

Alice thought this was what the Queen was trying to say without words, and she looked at the Hatter again. Looking at him now, Alice realized that he thought this would be goodbye for a long time again, just like it was the first time she had left Underland.

'But this time I have a choice."

Unlike last time, she didn't have people waiting on her. Her father's ship was practically sold, thanks to her mother, and while her mother had been the one to help her escape from the mental institution, she never quite could understand Alice and her quirky ways. Underland, on the other hand, everyone here understood her ways, and Tarrant, her Hatter….

"Tarrant,"

The Hatter looked up at Alice, a small twinkle of hope in his face when she addressed him.

"Yes, Alice?"

Alice smiled, "I'd love to meet your family."

Later, after introductions had been made along with explanations on how Alice and Tarrant had found them with the Red Queen, Time had popped back in to shoe them out of his castle again, complaining all the while about wasting him. Everyone made their way down the bridges to the entrance of the castle. Waiting for his family to pass him, Tarrant then turned to Alice and offered his arm to her, which she took with a large smile that matched his own. They turned and followed after everyone soon enough, and as they passed the mirrors, Alice trailed her fingers over the surface of it, only to feel solid glass under her fingertips.

Pulling her hand back towards her, she laced her fingers together around Tarrant's arm, and when he looked down at her with a question in his eye,

She smiled.

AN: There, fixed the ending. Oh, and if this gets enough reviews or favorites, then I might consider making another chapter if enough people want it.
