The Ministry Of Magic Enacts Marriage Law!

In a very surprising move, Minister Shackelbolt has successfully passed a marriage law through the Wizengamot. The law passed by a large margin. The law states that all wizards and witches over age 16 must be married by December 31st, 2017. The minister himself contacted The Prophet right after the vote. He said in a statement that this was a result of the lowest number of new Hogwarts students in history...
Hermione Granger put down her copy of the paper. A marriage law? What could it mean? She thought to herself. She went to her room in her one bedroom flat, got dressed and flooed over to the burrow. She saw Molly Weasley cooking breakfast. "Mrs. Weasley, may I come through?" she asked. "Yes dear, come on through." Hermione made her way into the kitchen of her second home. She started helping Molly with placing the food on the table.
As the whole clan, including Harry and Hermione were sitting down for breakfast, a owl flew into the open kitchen window. In its beak were seven letters. Each one addressed to each teenager at The Burrow. Molly passed them to each recipient. Hermione opened hers first.

As you have heard, the Ministry of Magic has passed a marriage law. We will match you with your spouse after you come to the ministry and get tested. We need a response no later then Thursday, October 19th, 2017. Please come for your appointment ready for testing.
