Daddy didn't want me,
Daddy didn't care,
Daddy didn't think,
Daddy turned to drink.
Daddy lost his control,
Daddy lost his mind,
Daddy lost his world,
Daddy started to whirl.
Daddy had everything,
Daddy had the Earth,
Daddy had a wife,
Daddy had a knife.
Daddy was drunk,
Daddy was harsh,
Daddy was blind,
Daddy wasn't all that kind.
Daddy said he loved us,
Daddy said he hated us,
Daddy said he would stop,
Daddy said not to call a cop.
Daddy was wrong,
Mummy was right,
Granddad came and rescued us,
In the middle of the night.
Daddy scared us for life,
It was all because of that knife,
But things got better,
Until I read your letter.
Daddy made a promise,
Daddy made a plea,
Daddy made a lie,
Daddy wasn't sure why.
Daddy hurt Mummy,
Daddy hurt his son,
Daddy hurt everyone,
Daddy hurt me.
Daddy was a drunk,
Daddy was a fool,
Daddy was a prick,
Daddy is gone.
We've got a new Daddy now,
One that isn't as foul,
Our new Daddy cares,
Our new Daddy is fair.
Not one of my best poems but I felt like I should do something like this. Everything that was written is true and has happened so if you really want to rob my past then go for it.
You review while I go back to the St Trinian fandom and try to think up more story ideas. I may be there for awhile ;]
