Scott's Past Arrives at Horizon Part II
Scott's flashback…
He was a football player then…a good one. Having just transferred to a new school, Scott had been worried about making friends. But he soon discovered that scoring the winning touchdown against a rival team increased one's popularity here. Everything revolved around football.
As Scott dug through his locker, he heard whistles, shouts, and cat calls echoing from the far end of the hall.
"Must be a miniskirt," he grinned at his friend Sean (Scott's locker neighbor and the team's star quarterback.)
Sean stood on his toes to see over the crowd of guys moving down the hallway. "That's no miniskirt," Sean grinned. "That's Samia Tishay."
"Who?" Scott had only been here two weeks and he had never heard of her.
Sean laughed, "Don't worry. You'll meet her. You're Mister Popular now. Samia will make sure you stay that way after that play you made against Oakley. She's been absent a couple of weeks…toncilitis, I think. She's head cheerleader and oh-so-fine!"
Flashback ends
"Scott…Baby?…HEY SCOTT!!!" Shelby lost her temper. Scott snapped to attention. Shelby's glare meant one thing…jealousy big-time. At least she doesn't know…he thought.
By now, Samia was in Peter's office getting the rules. But back in the dorm, Auggie, Ezra and David were far from over the excitement she had caused.
"Did you see that top! It was like Victoria's Secret had showed up live on my doorstep!" Ezra exclaimed.
Auggie raised his eyebrow."Yo, Scott…you better be nice to Shelby. It took her a while to snap you out of that trance. I'm just glad Jules wasn't there to see me. I'd a been in for it major."
Scott looked worried. What if she's in Cliffhangers? What did she do to even get here?!
