"She can't see the way your eyes

Light up when you smile"

Quidditch. To some it may be sport, but Ginny knew better. How it felt to feel the wind rushing past your face, to see the view, beautiful expanses of greens and blues, to smell the air, rich with soil after stormy nights, and clean and fresh after chilly ones.

And then there was to see him, flying on with that beautiful smile, green eyes shining with joy, looking as though he'd found the most beautiful thing on earth. She wished that he would look at her that way.

"She'll never notice how you stop and stare

Whenever she walks by"

Cho. The name of the girl that he liked. She was beautiful, Ginny knew, with silky long hair and flawless pale skin. It wasn't surprising that Harry didn't look at Ginny twice. Who was Ron's little sister compared to the gorgeous Cho Chang? She just wished that Cho would notice him; he deserved to be happy, even if it wasn't with her.

"And you can't see me wanting you the way you want her

But you are everything to me"

Love. It was such a small word, but meant so much. And Ginny knew that's what she felt. Love. She'd always admired him, the great Harry Potter, the 'boy who lived', 'savior of the wizarding world.' He'd been everything she'd dreamed about and more. Then he had saved her. Ron's little sister. That's when she had known that he wasn't just the 'boy who lived', but a living, breathing human being just like her. And it made her love him even more. But he didn't even like Ginny, he liked Cho.

"There's a fire inside of you

That can't help but shine through"

Brave. Gryffindor was the house for the brave, the courages, the daring, the ones who had the nerve to stand up for what they believed in. He belonged in Gryffindor, Ginny knew. He was everything they stood for and more. Everyone could see it, except for Harry himself.

"She's never going to see the light

No matter what you do."

Smart. That's what Ravenclaws were known for. And yet, despite all the facts and data crammed into their heads, they couldn't see obvious human emotion unless it slapped them across the face. Or more specifically, she didn't. Ginny knew he tried, but no matter how much he worked, Cho didn't see a thing.

"And all I think about is how to make you think of me

And everything that we could be"

Pain. That's what Ginny felt every time he looked at her. Yes, he was looking at her, but as his best friend's sister, the stupid little girl who almost got herself killed, the youngest Weasley who had to be saved from the place she herself opened. Still she tried to make him see her differently, not that he noticed.

"I just wanna open your eyes

And make you realize"

Jealous. Something Ginny had never been. Not when she saw others getting the things she couldn't afford, not when someone did something that she herself would never achieve, not even when she lost at what she tried hard to win. Until Cho Chang. Cho knew who she was, and what she had, and no one objected. Ginny hated her for it.

But Ginny was good at things too. She knew she was a decent quidditch player, her grades would be considered good, she liked her hair, and her skin didn't break out as much as the others her age. But it just wasn't enough.

"I just wanna show you

She don't even know you

Baby, let me love you

Let me want you

You just see right through me

But if you only knew me

We could be a beautiful

Miracle

Unbelievable

Instead of just invisible"

Invisible. Ginny knew that's what she was to him. As long as he liked Cho Chang, Ginny would always just be Ron's little sister.
