Nebraska, Arkansas, and now Kansas. You sighed. They were all the same, flat, with nothing around to brag about, but crops. But you were on a mission. You had a share in pretty much every major business across the world, making you the youngest billionaire next to Oliver Queen. You smiled, you enjoyed Ollie. Both of you had been friends in school, pretty much because both of you were orphans. You even had a share of his enterprises. The only one you weren't successful at getting was Luthercorp, until today. You were confident your presentation would enable you to achieve your goal. You sauntered up to the secretary's desk, "I'm here to see Mr. Luthor." The older woman scanned you over with her horned rimmed glasses. Looking from your Prada shoes, to your Armani dress, to your sixty dollar sunglasses. As if passing a test the woman buzzed you in.

You sat on the leather sofa, fiddling with the chromed nick nacks. You put on a small sneer as you heard the door close. Expecting to see Lionel Luthor you kept your eyes cold and chin up. Keeping in mind that good-hearted nature didn't appeal to the older man. Instead your jaw went slack as you saw the younger Luthor enter the room. You straightened your jacket, and extended your hand. He took it with a somber smile, "Sorry I'm late." You shrugged as you watched him go to his desk. "No big deal, happens to all of us." He spread his work papers across his desk, to make sure they were all in the correct order. And when he was done, just as the secretary had done, he scanned you over.

But instead of looking at your wardrobe, he had become more content on studying your features. From your strawberry blonde hair that was twisted into a knot at the base of your neck, to your aqua eyes, and a sprinkle of freckles above the bridge of your nose. Ruby red lips that only ever needed was a splash of clear lip gloss. Size C breasts, all natural, with an hour glass figure. Even though you lived in Houston you maintained only a light tan. You gave a crooked smile, and softened your eyes. He smiled slightly back as he quietly looked back at his papers. You used to have a crush on Lex, deep in you, you still did. He was dangerous and risky, with a vulnerable side hiding away. But you heard he had gotten some girl pregnant, 'the next Lex girl.' As the tabloids called her.

So you put all possibilities of you and him away. It was sad, fifteen minutes into the presentation your mind began to wonder out the window, and you didn't snap out of your trance til you heard Lex shout out a, "Damn it!" "What?" you said lazily. "I have an emergency, we'll have to cut it short, and continue sometime this week." You threw your hands up in frustrated anger. "Where am I suppose to stay til then? No one has even made a hotel in the tiny town." Lex looked at you in amused awe. "I suppose you could stay at my place if you're that desperate." You narrowed your eyes at him, "I don't take pity." You were making your way out the door when he closed it from you, and pinned you to the wall.

You swallowed slightly, biting down on your bottom lip from the contact. "What?" He smiled, surprised by the fact you weren't afraid of his brutality. "I don't take pity on people, I only try to ease the situation." You laughed at his choice of words. As you shrugged his hands away from you. "Fine, but I can pull my own weight."
