"Ed? Al?" yelled Winry for the boys. "Where are you?"

Edward and Winry were seven, and Alphonse was six. They were the best of friends; They played together everyday.

The three were playing hide and seek, Winry the seeker. "I give up!"

Al and Ed ran out from two bushes. Since Ed was so small from not drinking his milk, he and Al could have easily fit behind one bush, but it was more fun having their own.

"You lose!" taunted Ed.

"No I didn't," Winry argued.

"Yes you did."

"No I didn't."

"Yes you did."

"No I-" she stopped. Winry wanted to act like an adult, and doing so, she would have to stop this immature 'yes' 'no' argument.

"What?" Ed said. "Acting like a grown up again?"

"So?" Winry stuck her tongue out at Edward. Al was laughing.

"Oh, real mature!" hollered Edward.

"Want to play again?" Al asked.

"No, I think I should go inside. It's getting late..." Winry replied.

"And dark..." finished Ed. Winry was afraid of the dark when she was younger.

"Edward!" She whined.

"Hey!" He whined back as she chased him.

After a moment, Al joined in. They were laughing and playing like usual. Not a problem, not a worry, or anything in the world could stop them from their games. They were a family...

"All right," said Winry, gasping for air, "I need to go inside."

"Yeah. Mom will get worried, Edward," Alphonse reminded his brother.

"Fine," he groaned.

"Bye Edward, Alphonse! I'll see you tomorrow!" Winry hollered, trudging up the hill to her house.

Ed and Al waved their hands as they walked towards their home as well.

They went home, ate dinner, and went to bed happily, awaiting tomorrow.
