[ I, the ill-starred man]

The world is dead.
And alone I stand,
Not knowing what to do.

The burden that I have in my heart.
What does God want from me?
To make a world anew
With the one I despise so deeply-?

So many questions I must ask
And yet no answer I receive.
I say, "I am an ill-starred man
In which life is not joy."
Can anyone hear me?

The blood stained sky,
The blooded sea which once was clear,
And blood that covers my hands which once was clean,
All a contrast to her bright, blue eyes and fiery red hair.

I could not kill her-
Yet I despise her?
What a foolish man I am,
It should have been easy to kill one
Because of the hatred that burns within.

Though I could not kill her
So I left her.
Hoping that she too will loose her sane.

In that red sea
In which humans such as I are in
Their blood mixed with the blood of Lillith.

"What a horrid life
I am living!" I shout to the sky.

"What a horrid life
I'm in!"

I then hear her voice
calling me.

And hear footsteps getting closer...
