".or maybe you were afraid that I'd want to up the timetable." Harm took a moment let Mac's words sink in before replying.
Harm: To be honest Mac, the idea that you might want to UP the timetable didn't occur to me.
Mac is more than a little shocked by this. Here's the man she's in love with, and he's saying that he thinks, that she thinks, that their Baby Deal was a bad idea? Why would she think that?
Mac: *Because even though SOMEBODY (Sturgis) knows I'm in love with him, HE doesn't. Okay Marine, time to correct that.* Harm, I would never want to move back the date of a deal like that with you. Not unless you want me to. Do you?
Harm: No. No, I don't want you to.
Mac: Fine then, how about moving it forward?
Harm: That depends, on how far forward, and whether or not it's what you really want. Just because it's what I want doesn't make it right.
Mac: Harm, I want to move the date forward, and not just to satisfy my biological clock. I don't just want to have a baby, I want to have YOUR baby, and I don't want to wait any longer.
Harm: Are you sure? I mean, ah hell now is not the time or place for this conversation so. 1900, I'll pick you up?
Mac: Flyboy, are you asking me out on a date?
Harm: Yes. This is the one relationship that I cannot screw up, because not only will I lose the love of my life but also my best friend, so I'm going to go about this properly.
Mac is REALLY shocked now. Harmon Rabb, in love? With her? It seemed too good to be true.
Mac: Did I just hear you right?
Harm: Did you hear me tell you that I'm head over heels in love with you, and ask you out?
Mac: Yes.
Harm: Then your heard me right.
Mac: In that case, what should I wear tonight?
Harm: Dress up. (Turns to leave, then looks back.) Oh, almost forgot, do you want to go dancing after?
Mac: I'd love to. Oh, and Harm? (Harm turns around completely) I love you too.
