Watching

A/N: My first BOF fiction and its a sad one D: Oh well, this little bunny came up while I was thinking why the "bad boys" in K-Dramas always get the girls. Like Ji Hoo in BOF and Shin Woo in You're Beautful. Aishh, I was rooting for both of them. Well, anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this little drabble ^^.

With his two best friends standing by his side, he watched his closest friend in the world talk to the person called his soulmate by the seaside. His dark eyes showed sadness as he stared at the reunited couple chat while amongst the waves with jealousy. He kept his jealousy in without a sweat; he was known as being the hardest to read in the famous F4 and he wanted to keep it that way.

He watched as Gu Jun Pyo went out of his character and knelt down on one knee in the sand. It was like a scene out of those romantic movies girls seem to love. He watched as the man pulled out a little black box of his blazer's pocket for the female to see.

He watched, wishing that the person in front of her was him. He was Geum Jan Di's "firefighter" after all.

He watched, wondering why the so-called "bad boys" always get the girls in the end. Did the female population prefer being shouted at and being bossed around against their will these days? Was it becoming some kind of trend?

What ever happened to girls who liked the "Prince Charming" character who would sweep them off their feet and save them from danger? What ever happened to the girls who appreciated someone watching over them? What ever happened to liking the kind and thoughtful men?

He sighed, thinking if he was dubbed Geum Jan Di's "soulmate", why wasn't she by his side? He knew some rules were meant to be broken but why did she have to break this particular rule? Soulmates were meant to be together forever, according to Chu Ga Eul, but his was being proposed to by his best friend.

He watched as she said "yes". He saw the sparkle in her eyes though he was so far away – it shone so brightly, it was almost impossible to miss.

He watched as the curly haired man rejoiced.

He watched the newly engaged couple's reaction as he came forward with a smirk, saying, "I object!"

Maybe, they were meant to be in another life. He hoped that it was true. But for now, for the sake of her happiness, he has to give her up to someone else, though deep down he knows he can't let her go even if he dies.

Yeahh, I put a little 2AM there at the end, hehe. I'm sneakayyy...okay, not really. Who here likes SS501? What do you think about Kim Hyun Joong leaving their label? Ahhh, no more SS501 without the leader? D: 501 stands for FIVE FOREVER AS ONE, right? It wouldn't be the same if he left. _ Anyways, leave a review and if you're a fan of SS501, tell me what you think in a review!
