Ok. So a second one-shot. We shall see how this goes. Oh. And I own nothing. Even though I would like to. If I did Sara wouldn't have left the show... Anyhoo. In this one, I have imagined that Griss and Sara have married, and that Sara has left on account of some...erm...issues relating to babies and things, if you catch my drift, and that Grissom has moved to day shift.

I slowly open my eyes to the sound of birds tweeting outside. The curtains are drawn, but a small sliver of bright sunshine slips through the space inbetween the two pieces of material, softly illuminating the room. I glance round at the clock. 6:53a.m. It'll be time to get up soon - we have an appontment to make.

I turn my head to see my lover- my husband- fast asleep beside me. He's on his stomach, his face hald buried inthe pillow. I have always thought he looks so damn cute when he's asleep. His mouth hangs open a little, and he develops this peaceful, relaxed expression that is rarely seen in his waking hours.

Yes, he tends to snore, but I talk in my sleep, so I guess we're even.

The white covers contrasted brilliantly with the tanned skin of his back. The cover is pulled up to just above his waist, and as I shuffle closer to him, I realise that he still smells faintly of last night.

Ah yes, last night. Strawberries, melted chocolate, blindfolds and absolute, complete ecstasy.

I glance around the room once again, and I have to stifle a giggle as I see the mess the place is in. Clothes are strewn all over the place - the floor, the chair, and I grin as I see his boxer shorts perched atop the lampshade.

I look back to Gil, and I smile. Since we've been together, I have never been happier. He gives me such a good feeling, and at times like last night? He has the power to make me completely lose myself. He has the power to render me unable to shift my attention away from him.

As I gaze at him intently, I hear a muffled sound. When I finally realise what it is, I grin widely.

" Sara, stop staring at me. It's off-putting," he mumbles into his pillow.

" Sorry," I apologise with a beam, and I go to get off the bed, but as I glance back, and I can't bear to tear myself away from him. I sit back down on the bed, and I just stare at him.

An eye-lid lifts and I get a flsh of cool blue. He looks round at me and smiles slightly. I smile back at him, and I lean down and gently kiss his lips.

The early morning light streaming in certainly does make everything seem so perfect and blissful.

I quite liked this. I don't know about you???? Review please???? xxx
