The camera pans into a house on a mountain on the date 13th September 1985 as a woman was seen cleaning her house and looks at her watch.
"I don't understand it, they were supposed to be here yesterday" the woman asked a man who was reading a newspaper while sitting down on a chair as knocking on the door was heard as the woman opens up the door to notice a stork holding two bags in his beak.
"Is this the address for two baby boys?" the stork asked.
"Yes it is, a day late anyway" the woman replied.
"Yeah, sorry about that, we had some issues, but don't worry, those issues are now fixed, here are your babies mam" the stork said taking the bags out of his beak and gives them to the woman who takes them from the stork.
"Enjoy your time with them" the stork said before flying away towards the moon as the woman closes the door and places the bags on the floor.
"Honey, i think they finally arrived" the woman said as the man puts his newspaper down and looks down at the bags as the woman opens up the bags to reveal two babies with brown hair inside of them.
"Honey, they look just like you" the woman said with a smile.
"Yes they do actually, you know since they are twins, me and my brother used to have these hats when we were their age, i wonder if it will fit them" the man said before pulling out a red hat with a M on it and a green hat with a L on it and puts them on the babies.
"A perfect fit, we should name one of the babies something beginning with a M, and the other one beginning with L, for example, Marcus & Lewis, or maybe something original like, Mario & Luigi" the man said.
"Mario & Luigi sounds like beautiful names for these two" the woman said.
"Then Mario & Luigi it shall be then" the man said as the two babies started to cry as the woman picks up Mario and Luigi and cuddle them together.
"Baby mine don't you cry, baby mine dry your eyes, rest your head close to my heart, never to part, baby of mine" the woman sang as the babies stop crying and hug the woman.
"Little one when you play, don't you mind what they say, let those eyes sparkle and shine, never a tear, baby of mine" the woman sang as she hummed to the babies as they yawned and fell asleep.
The man opens up a door to reveal a nursery as the woman walked in it while carrying the babies and places them in separate cribs and puts blankets on them.
"From your head to your toes, you're so sweet goodness knows, you are so precious to me, cute as can be, baby of mine" the woman sang as she walked up to the door as looks back at the babies and smiles and closes the door as the camera fades to black.
The camera fades into morning in a house as the date is now February 5th 2013 and the camera pans to a figure sleeping as an alarm clock rings which wakes up the figure to reveal it's an older Mario wearing pyjamas as he turns the alarm clock off and then yawns and stretches and gets out of the bed.
An older Luigi wearing pyjamas was seen cooking on a pan as Mario walks downstairs as Luigi turns and faces him.
"Morning brother, how are you doing?" Luigi asked.
"Doing quite well actually" Mario replied who then sat down at the table.
"What's for breakfast today?" Mario asked as Luigi walks towards the table with two different plates.
"Oh you know the usual, bacon & eggs" Luigi said putting the plates on the table to reveal they are bacon & eggs as the duo start eating.
"Luigi, i had that dream again, the one where i was on this green dinosaur's back, the one with the saddle and boots, and we were going on an adventure to rescue you, from some kind of wizard, who was being served by a bratty turtle with anger issues, and for some part of it, that dream felt like, it was real, like it did happen back then" Mario said while eating the bacon & eggs.
"Mario, it's just a dream, it's just something that just messes with your head, sure it may feel real, but trust me it's not" Luigi said while eating the bacon & eggs as the phone suddenly rings.
"Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but i did say it did felt like it was real" Mario said while getting up and walks towards the phone and answers it.
"Mario Bros Plumbing" Mario said.
"Hello, my bathtub drain seems to be blocked off by something, the water just doesn't want to seem to go down the drain" an elderly woman spoke out from the phone as Mario picks up his notebook and writes on it.
"Blocked bath drain, can you give me the address of where you are" Mario said.
"Yes i live at 29 Coconut Street, please hurry" the elderly woman spoke out from the phone.
"No worries mam, we'll be there asap" Mario said.
"What does that mean?" the elderly woman spoke out from the phone.
"As soon as possible" Mario said before hanging up.
"Better finish up that breakfast quickly Luigi, we got another bathtub drain problem" Mario said as Luigi nods as the duo eat their breakfast quickly and ran upstairs and opened up the wardrobe to reveal red & green overalls and hats as Mario puts the red overalls and hat on with Luigi puts the green overalls and hat on as the duo stand together while smiling.
The duo ran through a door and down some stairs to reveal a van which said Mario Bros Plumbing on the side of it as they quickly hopped into a van with Luigi in the driver's seat and Mario in the passenger's seat.
"Putting down the address now" Mario said while putting the address the voice on the phone gave to him and then finishes and pulls out a remote and presses it as the garage doors open as the van drives out of the garage and drives down the street.
