A/N: Okay this story makes me really sad and I will tell you why right now.
Reason #1 and the only reason: I over did it on the lame jokes, I mean really over did it.
This story is dedicated to my friend Rachel aka CloudAreFluffie for giving me the inspiration by drawing the most epic picture ever.
*Sigh* Anyway I don't own Pokemon and I never will, and with out further ramblings of mine. Enjoy.
Hungry Hair
It was a quiet day in Sunyshore City; no one was about the costal town, or it appeared to be.
The day was just too quiet some could have argued, one person in particular being the cities Gym Leader Volkner. There hadn't been any challengers in months and he was plunging deeper and deeper into a depression.
The electric trainer was on the lowest floor in his corner of sadness with his Luxray sitting loyally by his side.
This went on for hours before a flamboyant redhead stalked into the city. Flint looked around and sighed, "Mother Fucker," he mumbled before making his way to the gym.
When Flint reached the entrance he pulled the door open and stepped inside, no trainers were around and his BFF Volkner was nowhere to be found. "He must have foreseen my coming and gone into hiding. Oh, ho, ho he didn't count on me knowing where he was and always is, in The Corner of Angst," Flint thought, his face spreading into a smile and striking a heroic pose.
He resumed his quest and found the trap door that led to said corner. With one swift pull he opened the hatched door and as silently as possible climbed down the ladder and into the dark basement. One the last step he saw the light of a lamp and his bestie sitting beside it with a book open in his lap. Volkner's eyes didn't seem to be focusing on the words at all though.
Flint sighed and jumped down from the ladder. "Volkner what is up my burnt out brother from another mother!" he shouted causing Volkner to cry out and hurl the book across the room at the noise.
"Dude what the flaming hell? Are you trying to extinguish me because if you are I am going to be very put out. Never mind, guess what we're doing today," he said jumping up and down.
"I'm very afraid to ask but I will humor you and ask the question; what are we doing today?"
"We're going on an adventure Volkner, with all the right gear, an adventure of magical blazing flametastic fun."
"I don't want to today, Flint," Volkner responded getting up from his corner of sadness.
"But Volknerrrrrrrrr…." Flint whined draping his arms around his pal and lifting his feet off the ground to hang on him.
"Flint seriously you are going to end up killing me one of these days…"
"Please, please, please, please it will be fun and I promise not to purposely start anything on fire… that includes you," Flint begged jumping up and down so fast his afro could not keep up with him.
"Fine just stop it you're giving me a headache…" Volkner groaned placing both of his hands firmly on his friend's shoulders as to stop his obnoxious jumping.
"Really, oh boy, yay we're going on an adventure," Flint started jogging in place before grabbing his friend's hand and pulling him to the exit of the basement.
The sun was bright when the pair stepped out of the gym. Volkner made to return to the cool seclusion of his gym but Flint grabbed the hand that rested on the handle of the door and started skipping. Volkner remained resolute but Flint kept going using his firepower to move his buddy.
Volkner groaned and followed on heavy feet. "That's the spirit my friend!" Flint rejoiced.
As they reached the outskirts of town Flint laughed and shouted. "YAY ADVENTURE TIME," and took off running.
Volkner scowled and walked along behind…
A/N: See lameness any way this will only be a two shot... there might be a sequel if I get enough encouragement.
