A/N: Okay this is a fluffly, angsty, drama sorta fic. It's a short, 1 chappie piece that I did one night after staying up late and having nothing to do!

Remember Me

A silver glow clung to the still sheet of black that covered the warm night sky. Harry Potter sat deliriously at his bedroom window, not saying a thing and hardly breathing at all. He wanted to take in his surroundings and to believe that finally everything was all right and for once in his life he knew it was.

¬Flashback¬

'Ginny listen to me' Harry grabbed his Girlfriends wrist and screamed an order at her, he hated to see her like this. Her warm brown eyes filled with pools of tears as she trembled with fear.

The sounds of screaming and wicked high-pitched laughter could be heard outside their small apartment in the centre of Diagon Alley.

'GINNY!' He yelled as she stared at the door, listening intently to the sounds of their surrounding battle as tears rolled down her flushed cheeks.

'Stay here Ginny, your Dad is coming to get you and take you to the Ministry with Hermione and your brothers, you'll be safe there, you can wait for me'

'R-Ron t-t-too' she stammered.

'No Sweetheart Ron has to go with me, he will be alright' He said softly, as he wiped a tear from her eyes.

They were silent for a moment, just standing, listening and waiting for the right time.

Harry finally leaned in and kissed her softly.

He turned to leave as he felt a heavy lump rise in his throat and his eyes beginning to sting.

'Harry-' she said softly before he could go. '-What if you don't come back'

He was wordless for a moment, how he would love to say he would come back and that everything will be alright but he wasn't sure if that was the truth and he couldn't lie to Ginny. So he swallowed and turned to face her.

'Remember me' he smiled grimly as warm tears flooded down his cheeks.

And then he left, without another word, throwing himself into Voldemort's final battle.

¬End Flashback¬

Harry gazed over at the double bed in the centre of the room, a figure was lying under the sheet, chest rising and falling with a slight smile upon her face. How Harry loved her, He loved Ginny Weasley like the flowers love the sun, with every single beat of his ever-ticking heart.

He smiled to himself and clambered silently from the windowsill toward the empty side of the bed. His side of the bed was cold and deprived of a warm body breathing slowly in it, that's what he loved about going to bed in the summer, that and the ability to stare at Ginny for as long as his heart desired without being caught.

She turned in her sleep, now facing her Fiance he smiled and kissed her forehead gently. Ginny's eyelids fluttered and her lips began to part.

'I'll remember, always' she whispered into the still, silent air. Harry smiled and lay his head on Ginny's pillow right beside her, and with the comfort of her slow, patterned breathing he slipped into the darkness to follow her in her dreams.
