It was a dark night. No moon in the sky, no lights in the streets, only some light from some of the houses- candle lights. A hooded figure walked dawn those almost deserted streets. It was difficult to see for…actually…anyone. But the person kept walking with a determinated walk. A few curious children faces appeared on some of the windows, but the mothers took them away. Well….that city didn't seemed to like strangers. After some minutes, a young man appeared out of the dark, in front of the other person. His hair was a bit long (long enough to make a small ponytail with it) and had some strange dark-brown color. His eyes were light-violet and he wore yellow clothes.
''S-Stay away, ghost!'' he screamed at the hooded figure ''I'm not afraid of you!''
The other tilted its head ''Ghost?'' it asked with a soft voice- a girl's voice
He blinked a couple of times and took out his gun ''D-Don't play tricks on me! Let me see your face!'' the brunette had started shaking lightly
She nodded and pulled away the hood. It appeared to be a girl of around sixteen years. She had long wavy blonde hair, in a ponytail. Her eyes were icy blue and the only piece of cloth that seemed to outstand of her whole dark clothes, was a red scarf ''Hey….watch it with that'' she smiled lightly ''I'm no ghost. I'm only passing by and-''
''Liar!'' he screamed
The blond backed up a bit ''I'm no ghost, I repeat''
Should I trust her? He asked himself I can't fail on this mission….I must….
''If you kill me-'' she said suddenly ''-And you're wrong, then what? Could you live with the thought of being a murder?''
The brunette stood still. She was right. He couldn't fail ''I want to see if you can bleed''
The girl sighed and started searching in her pockets, until she found a couple of scissors, and made a small cut on the back of her hand ''See? Now, 'm bleeding and I probably need to stop this. Could you help me?''
He sighed, looking a bit astonished. The girl seemed not to care about the pain, and the cut seemed quite deep. ''I don't think that Father will-''
''Your father sent you to fight with a ghost, I don't think he'll care''
''That's not true!'' he lied. How did she know? Coincidence?
''Eh…you liar.'' She sighed
''I'm not a-''
''Not on a basis. Well? Are you going to help me?''
There was some silence, and more curious faces appeared on the windows ''Alright''
She smiled and moved her hand quickly. Her wound disappeared and her skin looked like if there hadn't been any cut at any moment
''You ARE the ghost!''
''Nah, I was just passing by'' she smiled again ''Tell me, who is that ghost?''
''IT'S YOU!''
''Didn't you listen? I'm not. ''
''But you just-''
''If a person plays a little trick on you then it's automatically a ghost? Fine, I'll be with the wound then'' and the wound appeared again
He blinked a couple of times more. Now he was terrified. The brunette could feel his blood getting cold due to the fear ''Wh-what are you?'' he said
There was a long silence. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and run away
She sighed, and looked down ''A monster, I guess…'' she whispered, looking at her hand
