A/N: Started this a few weeks ago while having bad keyshipping feels. Barely got around to finishing it.

Sunrise

Yuma loved Astral. He really did.

So, it was only natural he was happy when his best friend came back to Earth... as a human.

Of course, it was a struggle for Astral to properly adjust to human life, but it seemed he remembered most things...

"Y-Yuma," the black-haired duelist heard his companion call, dully noting he was stuttering.

He shifted his gaze to the pale-haired boy who sat beside him, shivering as the cold breeze went by.

"How do humans s-survive the cold?" Astral asked, bringing his arms closer to his body.

The tanned boy rolled his eyes, "Well, for starters, they don't wear t-shirts."

"T-shirts?"

"Yeah. They usually wear sweaters."

"I-Is this n-not one?"

It took every bit of patience in the black-haired youth to not groan. Regardless, he shook his head, "No."

"Oh... I s-see."

Yuma didn't respond then as he took to watching the sunrise once more, but he found himself unable to enjoy the sight since... Astral was still shivering.

Eventually, the black-haired youth grew annoyed at watching his companion constantly shiver. So, in a deflated tone, he called, "Get over here. There's enough room in my blanket for two."

The former spirit immediately obliged as he scooted closer, still trembling. Yuma sighed as he wrapped the blanket around them, blushing a bit when Astral leaned on him.

After this was done, the duo took to watching the sunrise again, not really talking, but enjoying each other's presence. When the sun finally did come, they basked in the rays of shimmering sunlight together until the pale-haired boy fell asleep.

He snored quietly while Yuma watched, a small smile on his lips.

However, the tanned boy eventually felt groggy and eager to get some sleep so he gently woke Astral up, and the two crawled back into the house through the window.

However, it seemed the former spirit didn't want to part as he insisted the two sleep in Yuma's bed. The black-haired boy agreed rather hesitantly, but he didn't mind all that much. If it made Astral happy, he was okay with it.

So, they situated themselves in the bed and soon took to wrapping their arms around each other. Sleep was quick to take over the two as they enjoyed the other's presence, happy they could be with one another once more.

However, they were unaware that the older Tsukumo sibling was making her way up to Yuma's room...
