I'm not sure if I'll continue with this, but if I get a good response then I will.

I don't own Kingdom Hearts. :)

-Journey's Beginning-

Do you love?

If there's a symbol for the universe then I'll tell you what it is- the Yin Yang.

It makes perfect sense, there is a light and dark side, both interlocking and both have a little of the other some where in them, though it takes a while to find it. Don't get me started and that cheep knock off junk, either, those stupid little half necklaces with the light and dark sides of it, because really, who would want that? Say, my dear Reader, that you and a friend bought one of those funky little Yin Yang necklaces, is it up to you to decide who gets what half of the necklace? Who's the darker one, and who's the lighter and if that's the case why do you even bother to hang out together? Sure, opposites attract, but really who'd get it? Are you one to say you want the light side, or the dark because you like the color black?

I seem to be getting carried away but there's a point to all of this. Those weird little hunks of junk can be sold at a fifty cent machine or at a chain store for six bucks, give or take, and really all you're buying is a lie because you can't decide who gets what half, not fairly, at least. There is only one Source that can determine that without question (absolute judgment, Reader, you might say differently) and that one Source is a little thing called Fate.

-----------

For Riku, Sora and Kairi there were three pieces to the Yin Yang- Riku would remain as the Darkness, Sora the Light, and Kairi was the tiny smear of each in the both of them, the part that bound the two together. Follow?

On Destiny Islands, where, in any wonderful fairytale, the three would remain and Sora and Kairi would finally give in to each other, and, of course, the group would die happy and old years and years from the day they finally returned. That's in a perfect world- pardon me- universe. But, considering the current situation, they did not live in a perfect universe (nor do any of us, unfortunately) and the very day after they had returned, a letter from The King himself was given to Kairi through the sea.

After sharing it's contents with Sora and Riku (who, after having the print wash up on their fingers laid it on a tree to dry for a while) the three of them were forced to return to their homes with the unfortunate news. The letter read as follows-

Hey fellas!

Sorry for the short notice (Minnie's wants to kill me for puttin' ya through this) but we knew this couldn't last too long and it didn't.

Troubles brewin' and we need your help again, sorry guys but pack up your bags and head over to the castle A.S.A.P.!

, Mickey

- and instantly Sora, Riku and Kairi knew that if they weren't tied to their beds that night, they'd have to leave in the wee hours of the mourning.

Again, this is a test sort of story but with a nice enough response then I'll add to it, I know it doesn't sound very appealing but there was something there when I started writing it that I couldn't let go of. It'll shapen up in time. :)

Thanks for your time!
