This is just a little something inspired by next week's episode trailer. A drabble, really, a little on the long side. But can someone find me an Auggie? Please? I'll love you forever.

This is badly written and really cheesy. But I was in that kind of mood.

I am working on a double shot off the end of "Falling in Zero Gravity" but am very busy with my job(s). I knew being a journalist would keep me busy, but whew! That, and my roommate moves in tomorrow.

Thus, I dedicate this to my roomie, K., who is bringing a VCR to tape "Covert Affairs" while at church on Tuesday nights.

Love from, Miss Claire. Xxxx

Peach Martinis and Patron Shots

Annie sat at the bar drinking a peach martini, something a little different. She needed to drink away the memories of what she heard between Auggie and his old flame. Tash or whatever the hell her name was. She just wanted to scream. Loudly.

But instead she had settled for drinking her misery away. So she flirted with Jai. She wanted Auggie.

She wanted him bad. But at the moment she was so pissed and jealous she decided to go to a different bar instead of the usual spook haunt. She wanted a girly drink and a cute guy to feed her some cheesy pick up lines and take her home and fuck her. Fuck her hard.

She was on the third drink and slightly tipsy, looking down into the next glass, when she heard someone shuffle up to the stool beside her.

"Four shots Patron, please," the familiarly deep and rough voice ordered.

She looked up and sighed in disbelief. "Dammit. I can't even get drunk in peace, can I?"

Auggie barked out a laugh. "No. What's the matter, Annie dearest?"

"What makes you think anything's wrong?"

"Well, you're not at the usual place. You're voice is a little rough. And I can just tell."

"Your shots, sir," the bartender said before sliding them across the bar.

"Two for you, two for me, Annie."

Annie grabbed the shots and downed hers right after the other. Auggie did the same thing, with a small smirk afterwards.

"Why are you jealous, babe?"

"What are you talking ab-"

"You know damn well what I'm talking about. The thing is I don't know why you were jealous."

"Of Tash? Really? Only the reason why Bea and every other female at work is too!"

Auggie outright grinned at that. She was obviously drunk because she would never admit to it sober. As it was, he took her hand in his and laced their fingers together. Annie froze at the action and just stared at their hands.

"Annie."

"Auggie."

He allowed his hand to travel up her shoulder and cup her face. His thumb brushed over her lips before he leaned in and pressed his to hers.

"Auggie," she said again, but more of a whisper in a crowded bar.

"Annie. You're drunk, but I'm not. And you probably won't remember this in the morning. So we'll just repeat it tomorrow night. Pizza, wine and a movie."

Annie just looked at him with a smile. "Kiss me again?"

And he did.
