I raised in London with my mother and father. Alexa Green and Richard Green, famous marine biologists who had traveled the world. They settled down in London after they had me, Pearl Green. Everyone thinks it's a fitting name. We live by the ocean and practice Buddhism. Everyone thinks it's odd being a white female and having these ideals about reincarnation, but I never question it.
Everyone thinks I want to go to Oxford and become a marine biologist myself, but I don't. The ocean scares me a little bit. My mother once said the vast majority of it is unexplored and we have no idea what could be down there. When you've listened to whale songs since birth, you also just have had enough of it. I want to be work in a museum. I love history and over in America they have the best museums I've ever read about.
I'm a senior in my prep school, top of my class, junior prom queen, homecoming queen, and everything else you can imagine. I date no one, because I refuse to get attached to someone who doesn't believe in my Buddhist ways. I also refuse to get attached because I plan on going to America very soon.
That is everything I am. Pearl Green, the girl stuck in the wrong country. But that's ok, I have a feeling things will change very soon.
