Opening scene

It's new years and Beast boy is sat on the roof looking out up at the stars when seemingly out of nowhere Raven appears behind him.

Raven "what are you doing her the party is downstairs?"

Beast Boy flashing a cheesy grin "I'm waiting for the fireworks to light up the sky what about you miss mysterious"

Raven shoots him a glare and the sigs "you know i'm an empath right?"

Beast Boy "noo I have only seen you use it like a thousand times"

Raven shaking her head " when will you grow up?"

Beast Boy "umm what about never"

Raven "l know you're actually sad I can sense it so if you want to talk now's the time."

Beast Boy "I thought you didn't do that with us"

Raven "I don't but it's practically overflowing from you to the point that I picked it up in the basement"

Beast Boy "oh umm sorry" he rubs the back of his head

Raven "it's okay but you still haven't told me what's wrong"

Beast Boy "umm it's just a small thing really"

Raven "small things can snowball you know"

Beast Boy "I know," okay here goes nothing "I don't want to be downstairs were the couples will kiss at midnight to celebrate" he begins to blush so turns his head away from Raven

Raven "oh I see"

Beast Boy butting in "I mean I'm happy for them but I umm well I have never even kissed anybody, I don't mean to sound like I'm self pitying or maybe I am"

Ravan "no you're definitely not self pitying, I'm in the same boat it's why I was in the basement"

Beast Boy smiles "humm that's rather ironic"

Raven "smiles it is in more than one way"

Beast Boy "I have an idea you can say no if you want but would you like to kiss?"

Raven shocked "I have always thought my first kiss would be with someone who loved me"

Beast Boy "so if I loved you would you kiss me?"

Raven panics in her mind for a few brief seconds but calms her self quickly and for anyone who didn't know her they would have completely missed what was happening "then if that was the case I wouldn't stop you from kissing me"

Beast Boy turning to face her as if to almost check that he had heard her correctly but once he saw the slight pick on her cheeks he knew that it was now or never he lent in and pressed his lips against hers. To his surprise she kissed him back there lips became locked for what seemed like an eternity. After awhile he manages to pull away from her sweet beckoning lips to whisper to her almost as if his heart and only his heart could speak in that moment "I love you"

Raven blushing as brightly as the moon putting its glory to shame manages to whisper back "I love you too"
