Katrielle had been told ever since she was young. the amazing adventures of her Father, Professor Layton, she had always wanted to go on adventures like that. Finding lost civilizations, saving the world, finding a town filled with human-like robots! it was all so fascinating to her young mind.

Years had passed, and she soon grew up, so to start being like her father, she created, "The Layton detective agency" She had no clue that her first mission would be, to find her father who had gone missing. The only problem... she didn't know where to even start searching for him. A few months passed and she became quite the busy person, solving cases, for the Seven Dragons, the Richest Group of people in London, and perhaps the world! Her popularity just grew and grew.

Almost three months after the Dissappearance of Professor Layton, a knock came to the door, followed by a letter slipping through the mail slot, Ernest Grieves, Kat's self proclaimed "assistant" stopped what he was doing and picked up the letter, he examined it, "Erm... Miss Layton... I believe this is for you?"

Kat was currently being the glutton she was and she was eating three meals from a chinese takeout down the street, "Hmm?" she got up and went to Ernest, the letter he was holding looked odd, it was a blank envelope. "Who gave this to us? Did you see them?" Kat questioned Ernest, "No miss, I didn't" Ernest said quite ashamed of looking bad in front of Katrielle.

"Hmm... quite the puzzle!" She perked up a bit and opened the letter carefully, the note was an index card, it was a simple note, "Come outside" Ernest was nervous of the safety of the situation, "Isn't this a bit dangerous?" He asked, voice shaking

"Well isn't it just all part of the adventure!?" Kat said excitedly smiling, she opened the door to her office, and started walking outside. "W-Wait! Miss Layton!" Ernest said quickly going with her, the door shut, which woke up Sherl, Kat's technical "dog" but he isn't a normal dog, he's a talking one, well... at least to some people. "Kat? Hey Kat! Let me out!" He barked because there was no doggy door to her office one. But Ernest and Kat were already almost outside.

"M-Miss Layton, aren't you the least bit worried!?" Ernest asked her "Not at all!" she replied, "And if something happens... well just don't think about something happening and there won't be a problem!" she smiled and opened the door.
