Chapter 1
Wesley couldn't keep his eyes of of the picture in his hand. He had not seen the girl in the photo for almost a year. Today was her fifteenth birthday. "Violet, I miss you so much," he whispered silently. "Wesley, are you in there?" his mom asked from the other side of the door. Wesley quickly hid the picture under his pillow. "Yeah, Mom, I'm in here," Wesley said with the best non-depressed smile he could produce. Even though he tried to smile, Beverly could tell her son was depressed. "Wesley, we're going shopping today," she said, entering his room "Let's go". "How are we going to get it to her she's light years away," he said. " Wesley Crusher let's go get her present or ill tell her I brought the present and you didn't care, "She and his mom walked down the hallway towards the hollow decks. Why are we going this way he thought to himself. When his mom stopped at hollow deck 6, Wesley asked " Why are we at this hollow deck? I thought we were getting Violet a birthday present". " I need you to go get me something I left in there," she said. Wesley walked in and gasped.
Chapter 2
When Wesley entered, there was a big banner hanging across the top of the hollow deck. It said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIOLET" and standing right under it, was staring right at him. Violet looked more beautiful than ever, her dark brown hair curled as it fell on her shoulders. Her Aquamarine eyes were shining their deepest blue. He ran to her and gave her the biggest hug in the history of hugs, Violet returned it with the most beautiful smile Wesley had ever seen."Violet, I missed you so much," said Wesley. "I missed you to," said Violet. "I thought you were on Earth, Violet how did you get here,"? " Captain Picard owed me a favor, so he video messaged me and asked if I wanted to come here for my fifteenth birthday," Violet said." Wow, that was nice of Captain Picard to do that for you," he said." May I talk to you for a minute? '' asked Captain Picard. As Violet walked over there, Wesley looked worried, would Captain Picard want to talk to Violet. Captain Picard and Violet talked for about 5 minutes before Violet walked back to Wesley. She looked a little upset. " Violet, what's wrong?" said Wesley." Captain Picard sent the ship that was taking me home away" said Violet as a tear rolled down her cheek, ''I'm stuck here for three to four days."she ran out the room.
Chapter 3
Wesley ran after her, knowing exactly where she was going,The Supply Closet. Violet loved to be alone in small spaces, he went in to the supply and sat beside her. '' Violet why are you so upset," Wesley asked. "Wesley, when I was a baby my parents were astronauts on the Starship Quintera, the ship crashed on the planet Astrida. I was protected by a Metal container that could not be destroyed by an impact to a hard surface kind of like baby Moses was protected in a basket. I was found by a visitor who saw it and opened it. It was Captain Picard. He took me to the nearest village. There, he took care of me until my next of kin was found," Violet said. " Captain Picard owes me a favor because I didn't have a next of kin. I was sent to a foster care center, See how he owed me a favor. Then he sends the ship that was taking me home, away". "It is okay Violet you can stay with me. Cool?" Wesley said.
