Not in love
It was a normal day... "Krissy. Look." I look up and there he is. "Gaara. I see." I knew he was the biggest prince and bad boy in the whole Sand school. But me, I'm the one girl who never fell for him.
"Come on! You so want to." All the girls would tell me. I just scoffed, shaking my head.
"I'm too good for him." I say.
Really though... "Krissy." The three spoke to me. "We still having a study session?" I nod at them. "Yes. See you at the library." I told them.
"Bye Krissy." Gaara said to me. I sighed as they left.
In my head... "You so love him!"
"I do not!"
"You do. Look at him! You can't say how dashing and mysterious he is."
"For the last time, I said no!"
Yeah. Having arguments inside my head isn't the best thing. But it's what keeps me stable.
"You don't like him? At all?"
"Nope. How can I?" I asked everyone who'd ask me that.
"Well, you two have grown up together. How have you not fallen in love for him?" Well that's stupid.
"I fall IN love with someone. Not FOR someone." I corrected them.
"Really? You are in love with him?!" Oh my God!
"Just got with them. Maybe they'll leave you alone."
"No! I'm not falling for THAT!"
Telling myself that. But...
At the library, when I first walk in and see him sitting there... "Oh, I'm so in love with this man!"
Damn it!
"Gaara. Where is Temari and Kankuro?"
"They'll be here. I wanted to ask you for a favor." He looks at me with his green eyes.
"Sure. What is it?" I ask sitting down.
"Can you help me with this. It's a essay on love. I was using the book of Romeo and Juliet." Gaara explained to me.
I sighed. "It's the worst choice for a romance book." I had to admit. "But I can help." I mean why else are we friends?
"You are so deeply in love with this man!"
"Shut up! I'm helping him. He knows were best friends."
"What if he loves you back?"
"What if...No."
"Come on girl! Just tell him how you-"
"For my own sanity, Krissy Kristmas Uchiha, I will not tell Gaara that I love him!"
And that was that.
After a few hours...
"Well I'll see you back at home." Gaara said. "Yup." What some people didn't know was that we already live together. I am adopted.
"And Krissy," He leaned in close to me and whispered in my ear. "I love you too."
