WARNING: This little snidbit contains the burning death of a soulless vampire.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Angel, Buffy or any of the related characters. They are owned by WB, UPN, and Mutant Enemy. Created by Joss Wheadon, Joss is god, we are but humble servants.
The little snidbit, though, is mine. Read but do not hurt.
Timeline: I have no clue. I wrote this I think somewhere in the second season of Angel.
Okay, I have no idea where this came from, but I liked it and decided to keep it, and now share it with you. Feel special.
Edit: ok, reposting because samus was kind enough to point out my small errors that I can't manage to catch, but then again, I think he'd look really cute in scrubs!
Anyway, enough of that mumbo jumbo crap, I hope you like! And please review!
The rope twinged, threatening to give way under the weight of the helpless figure. The body swung upside down from the rafters back and fourth getting closer and closer to a garbage can full of hot flames.
"L-l-l-look man!" The swinging figure finally spoke, fearful of the approaching flame. A light from what appeared to be a flashlight shone across the figure. His face was knarled and his fangs shone bright white in the light. The man the vampire was pleading with stood, light still fixated on the swinging figure.
"I-I-I don't know nothin'! Only what the old lady told me!"
A firm hand grabbed onto the vampire's shirt restricting his swinging movements.
"What did the old woman tell you?" A powerful and demanding voice asked. He leaned down so he was face to face with the vampire. For the first time the vampire got a good look at his capture.
"O-o-oh man! It's you! The Vampire who kills his own! Th-th-the vampire with a soul! A-A-Angelus!"
"What did the woman tell you!" Angel asked again loosing his patience.
"I-I- all she told me was some chick's gonna' bite it, big time."
"Who?"
"I-I-I don' know. Some girl with powers."
"The Slayer?" Angel asked taking a step away from the vampire.
"I-I-I'm not sure. Could be."
"When?"
"I don't know, could be tonight, tomorrow. Not my problem."
Angel smiled, an almost evil smirk. "You're right. It's not your problem." The light flicked off and Angel grabbed the vampire by the shoulder. He pulled him back as far as the rope would let him. "I bet now you wish it was." The vampire's eyes grew wide with fear. Angel let go of the vampire and his body swung right into the flame catching the vampire on fire.
Angel shut the door to the warehouse and walked away, letting the vampire's cries melt away before jumping into his car.
Without giving what he had just done another thought, he sped off heading to the last place he knew Buffy was, the magic shop.
