Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ or the song 'I Saw the Sign'.

Summary: This is a one-shot song fic. It's been two years since Bulma's seen Yamcha. The last time she saw him was the day they broke up. What does she have to say to him now, after all their years together.

It had been two years since Bulma'd last seen Yamcha. And now she would see him at the Kame House Reunion party. How would he react when he found out that she and Vegeta were engaged? Well it didn't matter what he thought. Bulma reassured herself again, just as she'd been doing all day.

I got a new life.you would hardly recognize me, I'm so glad. How could a person like me care for you? But, why do I bother when your not the one for me?

It's enough, enough. I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign. Life is demanding without understanding, I saw the sign.and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign.

As Yamcha climbed out of his car he saw only one thing. Her. There Bulma was standing there, as if waiting for him. She smiled politely at him but her eyes told him that she had something to say to him. Something important.

He hoped it would be that she missed him, and wanted him back. He'd pretended to move on, going out with other girls. But he wanted her back, now. Yamcha approached her quickly. Bulma drew in a deep breathe, she knew what she had to say.

No one's gonna drag you up to get into the light where you belong. But where do you belong?

Under the pale moon, for so many years I've wondered who you are? How could a person like you bring me joy? Under the pale moon, where I see a lot of stars.

It's enough, enough. I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign. Life is demanding without understanding, I saw the sign.and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign.

No one's gonna drag you up to get into the light where you belong. But where do you belong?

"Yamcha I have something to tell you." There, she'd said it. "I knew you would." he answered softly. "Y-you do?" she questioned disbelievingly. "I've changed a lot since I've last seen you and I need you to understand." Bulma said quietly. He nodded for her to continue.

But before Bulma could start he walked towards her. Putting his arms around her, Yamcha whispered in her ear. "You feel lonely without me, don't worry I'm here. You can trust me. I promise to always be there for you Bulma."

Bulma shoved him away. "You don't understand, Yamcha I," she tried to hold back her tears of pity. "It's over between us, we have nothing. I'm with Vegeta now, we're engaged. I'm sorry Yamcha." Bulma turned on her heel and quickly walked inside.

I saw the saw the sign and it opened up my mind. And I am happy now living without you.I left you.

I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign.

No one's gonna drag you up to get into the light where you belong. But where do you belong?

I saw the sign.I saw the sign.I saw the sign.and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign.
