Well, that and this fanfic has been walking around my mind for a long time now, so here you have it. Read the warning plese.

Babysitting.

Prussia rolled his eyes at word as he stared at the little lump of human flesh that slept in his bed.

His boss had entered the room (without knocking) and had dumped the child and the task of taking care of it while he and the rest of the soldiers went to the battle. Prussia was very pissed at this.

Not only he missed what looked like the best battle on the century, he also got stuck with a little nation who looked no older than 5 years old.

The brat was wrapped in Prussia's covers, the only think visible was a tuft of blonde hair that peeked out of the little nest he had made. Prussia glared at it once more before returning to his diary.

He wrote for a few minutes before he heard the boy roll around. He looked up again and was met with piercing blue eyes looking at him.

"What" he asked in a gruffy voice, trying to intimidate the kid.

"Nothing" the boy replied.

Prussia returned to his work, but stopped when the eyes didn't leave him.

"Would you stop doing that?" he asked, annoyed.

"Doing what?"

"Staring at me!"

"I'm not" the little boy shrugged and looked away. Minutes later, the eyes had returned to his face.

"Stop staring!"

"Why?"

"It's making me uncomfortable!"

"Why?"

"Because!"

"Who are you?" the boy raised his head. Prussia had to admit, the boy was adorable. His straw-blonde bangs brushed his eyebrows, his skin was alabaster and his eyes where the bluest blue the albino had ever seen.

"I'm Prussia, and I'm awesome"

"Oh"

"You're Germany, right?"

"I don't… know, I think I had another name before, I can't remember"

"Other name? Maybe it was your human name?"

"Human name?" the boy repeated.

"Yes, uh… mine is Gilbert" he hadn't used the name for a long while, everyone now called him Prussia "Gilbert Beillschmidt"

"Oh"

"Do you know yours?"

"I don't think that was my previous name"

"You don't have a human name?"

"I don't think so"

"Hmm… maybe I could name you" Gilbert suggested, the boy looked at him curiously before walking over to him. It took all Gilbert had not to squeal and hug him.

"What do you mean?" he sat in the chair next to Prussia's.

"Give you a human name, like mine"

"Sure" Germany's lips formed a wide smile, Prussia grinned.

"Hmm, what about… Hans?"

"Hans?"

"Yes"

"I don't like it" Germany said after a while.

"Lukas?"

"Not that one either"

"Adam? Johan? Axel?" Prussia listed some names.

"Neither"

"What about Sebastian? Or Bejamin?"

"No"

"Ludwig? Christopher? De-" he was cut off by the boy.

"Ludwig!" the boy smiled "I like Ludwig"

"Okay then. Ludwig it is, do you want a last name?"

"Can I share yours?"

"Why?"

"Because I like it"

"Uhm… Ludwig Beillschmidt, you like that?"

"Yes!"

"Okay then, awesome"

"Awesome" Ludwig leaned and hugged Prussia, who only smiled.

Well, maybe the kid wasn't that bad.

There, sorry if it's awful.
