The Beauty Within

Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears.

Edgar Allan Poe

Bellatrix was used to being called beautiful, by her parents, her sisters, and her friends. Even when she started dating she was called beautiful many times. It was only on her wedding day that she finally realized that none of those people. She saw beauty today in the eyes of something that she would normally find completely wrong and disgusting. Her sister was wrapped in the arms of Lucius Malfoy. She saw how her arms snaked down his back, and how his hands teased her by placing his hands on her butt. The way they were together though was beautiful. They cared about each other, Bellatrix could see that in the way they looked at each other. Both wanted each other so badly that they would go to the ends of the earth to have each other. Bellatrix had never had that with any man. Not even Rodolphus. She was just a tool a sex toy to most men. No one really cared, or thought of how she was beautiful. She may have had the perfect body, but no one seem to notice how her eyes lit up when she saw a puppy or how she was always so gentle when around children. This softness that everyone seemed to associate with Narcissa was hidden in Bellatrix. She was the one with the hard personality the one that was supposed to be tough. She had a reputation to uphold; one that didn't come with people viewing her as beautiful, but today was her day. That's what her mother said anyway. She could do whatever she pleased because it was her wedding day. So as Bellatrix got ready to walk down the aisle she did something she knew her mother wouldn't approve of. She unpinned her hair that was in a tight bun on top of her head and let her messy black curls fall to her shoulders. After fixing her hair she went to grab her bouquet, but decided to throw it in the fireplace. Who wanted to carry white flowers down the aisle anyway? On her way to meet her father she grabbed a single black rose from the table in the hall. When she reached her father he looked at her oddly, but didn't say a word nothing could change this moment because Bellatrix was about to walk down the aisle revealing the beauty within.
