She was lead into the countryside, her arm around his and he help her hand delicately, her heart pounding in her chest as she looked at the stars above them shining down as if they were angel. The moon shone like a beacon of hope and love as they walked through the dew soaked trees, or at least in their eyes, everything seemed perfect; it didn't matter what anyone else thought, not anymore.

The stopped at a white gazebo, pretty little fairy lights hung from them that would have made the fairies jealous as they hide amongst the leaves. "Miss Kirkland… will you please make me the happiest man in the world and… m-marry me?" He pull out the ring, eyes focusing on her the entire time even when instinct told him stop.

Tears came to the corners of her eyes. Every she was, had been had dissolved. She couldn't have pulled away, even if she wanted to. "Yes…" It was simple but bought the happiest smile to both their lips. "A thousand times… yes and yes and yes again."

He picked her up, spinner her in his arms before slipping the ring on her finger and placing a kiss in the corner of her lips. For once there was no tension or lust, all of the small problems were crumbled. It was just them.
