Velveteen Wolf- you howl in the deep, the recesses of night, a ruined, twisted reminder of what transpired. The hunt is on, the target chosen: a kill is desired.
You look to crush the blinding light that seeks to oppress. Your small companion, unique powers he does possess.
Vel-"
"Unless you want to keep that tongue, I'd stay quiet." Oh great, the wolf wakes.
"I'm surprised! You lasted abouuuttt... 45 seconds this time, a new record if I must say." There's that look on that angry mug of hers again, frustration, annoyance, do I spy some resentment? Didn't get anything other than an exasperated huff from Ol' Calamity anyway.
"What, didn't get enough fury sleep last night, is that it? I know you want to kill ol' Shepherd Artorius, yadda yadda, but you GOTTA lighten up! Even the kid looks depressed half the time and he's what? Ten? Would it kill ya to get a grip sometime, Velvet?"
"That's rich coming from you, Magilou." As expected, the blase comeback, though one of the few to give me anything in return at her level of annoyance; the kid is too innocent, the Malak is too blunt, and Eleanor is a goodie-goodie so she doesn't count. And as for my little servant... well he knows not to spout lies about his pwecious mistwess, or she gets reealll mad.
"My, aren't we chatty today? Have any nightmares, Calamity? No? You're making me lose interest y'know, a girl likes stimulation." A yawn escapes my pure maiden lips. If you can consider cursing a couple dozens of citizens to midwinter allergies pure. A glowing, pulsating claw blocks my view, bringing me out of my brief reverie.
"Like you even care, you're always pestering the crew, and if it weren't for your magic we'd have left you with Teresa back in Northgand and let her torture you till you broke." Ooh, a snarl, that's a new face from her. It's so spicy, like the heat of her anger is emanating out of her, I like. Oh how fun it is to get her to open up to everyone.
"And what of my indifference? We all have goals that happen to end in the same place, soooo it seems you're stuck with the most insufferable, annoying, moronic witch in the history of all the lands! Lucky you! What, are you gonna show little miss Mayvin some discipline so she steps to the beat of your drum? Like I could care any less what you do to me." I've set a challenge. Time to see how the Lord of Calamity deals with her toughest foe yet: the fact that I just do not care.
