I love May! And I love Drew! (Whether you believe it or not, it's true.) But the sound of Contestshipping makes me want to vomit! I'm a new writer and a huge Pokémon fan freak. The reason why is because I think they both deserve someone better. Drew acts like a snotty little kid and is pretty short for his age. May, on the other hand, can be immature and loves to eat. They don't exactly balance each other out so they're not a good match up. If Drew doesn't get his growth sprout soon, May will be one foot taller than him! And if they get married, they'll look like hobos.
Every chapter equals a song. This one is dedicated to Natasha Bedingfield and her brilliant song "Pocketful of Sunshine"!
Prologue
"Glaceon, take the stage!"
"Let's go, Butterfree!"
Golden rays of sunlight lightened the cloudless, never-ending, blue sky. Below the sun was an everlasting, green expanse. A gentle breeze whistled playfully through the trees. Fresh patches of grass had sprouted on bare earth. Spring had arrived a few weeks ago, but there were still traces of evidence that winter was here.
Outside the lively forest was a verdant field. Two young trainers were about to confront each other in a Pokémon battle. Tension stressed in the air. In any second, this peaceful clearing was would transform into a battleground.
Butterfree's master was a fourteen year old, lean, wiry, and incredibly handsome boy with a mysterious background. Wind softly buffeted his thick, leaf colored hair; dazzling his beauty. The teenager's skin was pallid and his jade eyes gleamed with confidence. Just by looking at his Pokémon's glossy wings, you could tell Butterfree was well-trained.
Butterfree's opponent was a beautiful Glaceon. The trainer of this lovely fresh snow Pokémon was a vigorous, warm-hearted, twelve year old girl. She had sapphire eyes filled with determination, chocolate hair, and the same shade of pale skin as her nemesis. Her father was Norman, the Petalbug City Gym leader. Caroline was her young and attractive mother. Max was her brother, a know-it-all, bookworm kid. Their family was rich and happy. She had set out at age ten to become a top coordinator. Along the way, this girl made plenty of friends and rivals. Now she is about to compete with one of her long time rivals!
