WarHammeR 40K : .Attack at Dawn. It was early morning, the crack of dawn to be exact. The sun was just etching the horizon with it's light glow. The wind could be heard through the trees as it made a rustling of the leaves, the Mac Mordain river could be heard rushing down and past the dell. Also with it could be seen and heard the early morning rituals of the Eldar Striking Scorpions as they lined up their breakfast for the day. All this probably sounds all nice and good in a proper and normal setting on the planet earth. but not so. Where you actually are is the Eldar Craftworld or to put it more simply the 'Eldar Earth'. The Eldar are a different people separated from what we call the human race a long time ago due to their different and slender appearance and their unusual but yet useful (for them ) speed. The humans ? The Space Marine Corp which ruled out all and any non-humans in appearance and/or in abilitys. This action was taken originally out by the humans on what they call "The Day of Reckoning".In which on this day planet Earth was invaded by an alien species known solely as the 'Tyranids', buglike in appearance and action the tyranids are not to be mistaken for something you scrape of your boot, no they are a fighting warband that always attacks tactically and in groups of surprisingly high numbers. On the day of reckoning or the 4th of July to be more precise Earth was the target of the tyranid assault and many (millions upon millions to be more precise of )humans we're slaughtered on this day.The earth world leader at the time proclaimed that the Eldar even with their Ultra-agile speed and techniques did not form a resistance (or even try to) against the tyranid oppressors.Because of this very one reason the human race rejected and forced the Elders from their planet (outnumbering them 8 to 1 at the time) the Eldar race had no choice but to withdraw all Eldar beings from Earth but with no where to go they had to form another mode and way of living. So from then the 'Craftworlds' were designed they being a 'mini- earth' within themselves, that was always on the move and so therefore they we're very hard to track. This all happened a long time ago and is never talked about on either worlds except for when tension rises and gives reason for conflict but the only conflict ever occurring as of late was of a diplomatical context,so overall peace reigned more than the spilling of blood. After that fateful day July 4th of the Tyranid attack, the tyranids were not really heard of again much after that for no-one really knows where their homeworld is situated which makes it impossible to keep tabs on the enemys forces, on their numbers and such and to monitor there movements in and around the galaxy. With this dis-advantage the Space Marines constantly had sentrys posted around Earth at certain vantage points, with a constant flying guard to accompany the defense effort earth was pretty well tied down and secure from invasion. While the Eldars had not really as much to worry about as the humans did for they too while not being as hard to find as the tyranids, they we're also too forever moving .Never staying in places that long it made the Eldars exceptionally hard to kill and therefore to find. With all this being said I do beleive it is time to be moving on down to the warhammer 40K universe.....See you there.
