Disclaimer: I don't own and never will.

AN: I know I've already covered this character from my forgotten characters list, but this one just BEGGED me to be written.

AN2: The character's name IS identical to a RL manga artist/writer, but this is coincidence.

Chie Shinohara heard her friend Laura screaming long before she saw her. Turning to face the scream, she ran towards it in a manner she would have considered undignified only a year before. Rounding a corner, she came face to face with the cause of screams. Standing tall, with his wand in his hand and his eyes gleaming with sadistic amusement, was Amycus Carrow towering over a young Hufflepuff girl.

"Say that again, little half-blood filth! Say that again!" he screeched, flecks of spittle flying from his mouth. Chie stepped forward to help the unfortunate girl up to her feet and suddenly Alecto was pointing his wand at her.

"Leave her!" he bellowed, but Chie ignored him and slid her arm under the younger girl's shoulder. He raised his wand to cast another crucio, this time on Chie, when suddenly she spoke up.

"You don't want to do that," she said calmly and Amycus's eyes widened even further and for a moment he seemed lost for words. Chie quickly pressed on. "You see, I can't imagine that your Lord and Master would be too happy if you created an international incident."

"International incident?" he asked slowly and Chie nodded.

"You know professor. An incident between two countries," she said and Amycus glared.

"We don't need no stinking foreigners telling us what to do!" he said, his face darkening with anger. "They ought ta be looking ter us. WE'RE showin the world how a wizarding world SHOULD be run!"

"I am sure you are correct Professor," she replied, her face showing no sign of emotion even as she felt her mouth go dry with fear. "But your master would no doubt prefer to deal with them in his own time and not because of some trifling incident. I imagine that he would be…harsh to anyone who made such a mess of his plans because he was angry."

"And what would you know? You're just another stupid Gryffindor!" Amycus spat angrily and Chie resisted the urge to smile in amusement. It was something of an ironic statement given that Amycus was not particularly bright and most students considered him to be a prim example of stupidity.

"My father is the Japanese magical ambassador to Britain. I have diplomatic immunity to any punishment you offer," Chie said boldly and Amycus's face scrunched up in confusion, before giving them both a look of distain.

"I'm letting you off wiv a warning this time, 'cause I'm feeling gracious today," he finally said, although his face remained in an angry glare and Chie remained silent."But don' get in my way again, y'hear!"

"Yes Professor," Chie replied in a respectful tone, abeit one she didn't feel. With a swish of his robes, Amycus Carrow stormed off and Chie sighed with relief.

"Did you mean what you said?" the younger girl asked in a curious voice. "About you having diplomatic immunity?" Chie snorted.

"No, but I figured Amycus was stupid enough to fall for it. Now let's go before he figures out we put one over him."
