Chapter 1

For a second, I thought my life would end then I saw her just before I could vanish into thin air.

"Don't give me that look, Seaweed Brain." She said as she tried to hold her laughter.

"Who are you?" the both of us were standing in the shoreline of some white sand beach. The girl frowned then smile at me. Something's telling me that I know her. She had blonde, curly hair which was down and had gray eyes. She wore a white sundress that reached just right above her knees.

"You know me," the girl said as waves crashed at her bare feet. "You know me deep inside your heart."

Then I woke up.

My head felt like it had been pulverized. The pain was too strong to handle but I choose to open my eyes, anyways.

I tried to stand up but to no avail. My body felt like and cold. I was on a bed made by fine, silky, woven kelp. I saw pearls the size of basketballs glowing, floating around the ceilings, providing light. Underwater. I was underwater.

A voice said next to me, "Percy?" but who's Percy? Surely I am not him right? I turned my head to see a man wearing shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. His beared was neatly trimmed and his sea-green eyes twinkled in happiness. He almost looked happy except tears rolled down his cheeks.

"Who?" I croaked.

"Shh, I'll explain every thin when you wake up." he said. "But for now, sleep my son."

The next time that I woke up, I was still in the same room. I sat up, trying to push back the throbbing pain. I looked around. The room was empty. I was shirtless but had pants on. I felt my pocket and there was a pen. I pulled the pen and examine it, feeling a tug. On instinct, I capped off the pen. The pen grew longer and heavier. I held a shimmering bronze sword with a double edge blade. A murmur escaped my lips, "Anaklusmos." Riptide. Then I did the most idiotic thing, I dropped the sword.

Trying to reach for the sword when the both of your legs are numb is very hard.

My feet touch the abalone made floor, "Percy?" a voice behind me said. It's the same man before.

"Who?" I managed to say. My voice felt like it wasn't used for a long time.

"I am Poseidon." The man said. "And I am your father."

Author's Note: Rewritten the story. Changed prologue into chapter one I hope this would cope up with the mistake that I've earlier when I hit the wrong button. All of you might be thinking, WTH (or what the heck). I know the feeling. I felt that too actually, after I reread. You might be asking the reason why Percy almost died. Hold on people! Updates would probably be tomorrow or later, whichever.

Fierce and Love,
